Show 51, the last show of series 4, is now online! It’s been a long series!  DC 49 – Three Points | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 31:52

Show 49 is now online! Wait, on a Wednesday? Yup, the show has been timeshifted a bit because this Friday I’ll be in Rome for Worlds 2009! In this week’s show, I talk about three things that I think Wizards has done well with Magic, that other companies in the collectible games business would do well to emulate. Of course, they’re just my opinions, but I feel strongly enough about them to talk about them on DC. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated at show@deckconstruct.com (or hit the Contact link in the site menu). Our forums are also a great place to leave your feedback or just talk about Magic. You’ll also find DC on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Vimeo.  DC 48 – When Goblins fought the Evil Machines with Fire | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 46:16

It’s a pretty rough night in London weather-wise, and it’s also Friday the 13th! Never fear, though, because show 48 is now online! This week’s show is about non-rogue decks in rogue forms. First up is a Zendikar Standard-legal take on Goblins, following that is a look at a different sort of Legacy-legal Affinity, and the show ends on a toasty note with a look at a Zendikar Standard-legal burn deck. As always, if you have any comments please send them to show@deckconstruct.com or head over to the DC Forums. You’ll also find DC on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo. It’s now November, it’s Friday and it’s time for show 47 to go on-air! This week’s show is about electronic Magic. In the first half, I look at the various ways in which you can play MTG on a computer and a console. In the second half, I look at other MTG-related programs for computers and handheld devices such as the iPhone. As always, your comments are very much appreciated.  DC 46 – Three zombies and a vampire, Big news | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 36:12

It’s Friday, it’s bloody cold in London, it’s almost Halloween and it’s time for DC 46 to hit the netwaves! This week’s show features four black decks, one for each of Standard, Extended, Legacy and Vintage. The Standard deck is a Vampire deck, while the other three swing in the direction of Zombies (and hopefully in the direction of your opponent’s creatures). After this vampire and zombie madness, there’s a big announcement. Be sure to listen out for it! As always, your comments are very much appreciated at show@deckconstruct.com (or just hit the Contact link in the main menu). You’ll also find DC on Facebook, Vimeo, Twitter and YouTube.  DC 45 – The current state of Legacy, Pro Tour Austin | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:56

From the dark depths of central London, show 45 is now online! This week’s selection kicks off with a look at the current state of Legacy. I take a look at how Legacy as a format is doing in the UK, and also look at some notable Legacy decks from recent times, including some from the recent SCG 5K tournament in Philadelphia. After that, I look at Pro Tour Austin and some of the decks that were played there, both in the top 8 and a nice combo that didn’t make it to Sunday. As always, you can find DC on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and Twitter.  DC 44 – Magic: the Uprising, SCG 5k Standard | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:44

From a chilly London, show 44 is now online! This week kicks off with a look at a new-ish deckbuilding format where you build a deck according to a set points structure. The point is to equalise decks among a group and encourage crafty deckbuilding. In the second half, I look at the Standard portion of the recent SCG 5k weekend in Philadelphia, including my favourite Standard deck right now. Your comments are very much appreciated at show@deckconstruct.com. Also, find DC on the social network bastions known as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Vimeo.  DC 43 – Ten from Lorwyn, Knight Rock, Dev Chat | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:08

After a bit of a delay, show 43 is now online! It’s ma-hoo-sive, clocking in at 55 minutes and the longest ever episode of DC, beating show 27’s long-standing record. Headlining this week’s show is a look back at Lorwyn. I go over ten cards from Lorwyn/Shadowmoor (or Lorwynmoor if you prefer) that I had fun with while the set was in Standard. These aren’t necessarily power cards like Bitterblossom or the Planeswalkers, but more of a personal selection. Next up on the bill is a rock-like deck that I’ve been putting together for Extended, that could also work well in Standard with a few tweaks. Finishing off the show is a discussion of the dev chat that happened in IRC on Thursday, October 8 2009. I pick out some questions that caught my eye and discuss the answers the WotC team gave. As always, you can find DC on the socialverse islands of Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube. The path to the inbox is show@deckconstruct.com, and our forums are waiting to take your messages!  DC 41 – Zendikar Pt. 3, Buying and selling cards on eBay | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:41

It’s Friday, and DC show 41 is online! This week’s show concludes the three-week look at Zendikar. I take a look at some cards to watch out for in Limited (and Constructed), and also a combo here and there. The second half of the show focuses on buying and selling Magic cards on eBay. I share some tips on how to get the best deals, and also on how to get the most from selling your cards. As always, you can find DC via Facebook, Twitter (where things are heating up!), Vimeo and YouTube. If you want the direct line, show@deckconstruct.com is where it’s at.  DC 40 – Zendikar Pt. 2, Pauper Magic | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 40:00

Friday rolls around once again, and show 40 is now available via your nearest internet tube! It’s another milestone for the show as it rapidly hurtles towards the big fifty. To kick off this week’s show, I look at some more Zendikar cards, including a fun casual combo and a decent mono-black deck in the making. Then, in the second half, I take a look at Pauper Magic, a fun collection of formats that sidestep rares and mis-graded mythics. As always, your feedback is very welcome at show@deckconstruct.com.
