I’m Dahlia and I created Dirty Boot Diva to bring like-minded women together to enjoy the great outdoors hiking, backpacking, camping and more. You're not an outdoorsy kind of gal? Imagine for a moment what it would be like to disable that diva lifestyle and hit a dirt trail instead. I got dirty hiking, backpacking and camping for the very first time at the age of 45. My goal is to inspire women 40 and older to embrace their “dirty” side without giving up their diva side, too. Please join me and let me bring out the Dirty Boot Diva in you. Get out and get dirty!

When the country was plunged into a pandemic, heroes emerged from the dark to help the ones affected. They were not frontline workers. They were not designated to help the needy, but they still did it out of the sheer goodwill of their hearts. The ordinary citizen became extraordinary the moment a helping hand was offered. And while they did not do it for the fame, somebody had to bring them into the limelight. Residing in a hotspot of Mumbai, stranded at home, Roshan Shetty, a radio producer and presenter got captivated with these positive stories and instantly felt connected with the tribe, which he christened as Kaam Janta in his maiden podcast – Roshan Shetty’s Full Power Show feat. Kaam Janta. A firm believer of staying full power through the day, Roshan decided to shine the spotlight on the unknown Kaam Jantas of India, who are out there risking their lives, just so that they can fill an empty stomach or send a migrant home. A year later, when the conditions improved, Roshan began featuring trailblazers such as social entrepreneurs and philanthropists who are doing their bit to help make the world a better place. Be in an architect who makes playgrounds out of scrap materials or a US-return doctor opening up employment opportunities for special children in a quaint café; Roshan Shetty’s Full Power Show is your weekly dose of motivation and positivity which promises to make your day a Full Power one!

Like a real-life Phantom of the Opera, Southern California local theater actor Daniel Wozniak lured his victims, Sam Herr and Julie Kibuishi, in the attic of a theatre, where he would kill and dismember them before performing on stage the very same night. As of now, Wozniak alone sits on San Quentin's death row. But is there room for more? Is Rachel Buffett, a former Disney Princess and Dan's ex fiancee, an accomplice in the murderous scheme? Simultaneous to the launch of SLEUTH, today began Rachel's trial for accessory after the fact . Will justice prevail or will she completely walk free from her role in the crimes. Should she have been charged with murder? Investigative journalist and host of Sleuth Linda Sawyer, follows this story till it's ultimate conclusion, so that the victim's families finally learn the whole picture of what happened to their loved ones.

So….what does it mean to barely make it?

Well, exactly what it sounds like. It was a few years back that I originally discovered (read: stumbled upon) this phrase and for whatever reason it has resonated with me. It encapsulates what we are all doing which is barely making our way through life. This podcast is meant to be a fun and funny outlet where post-grads, millennials, basic betches, whatever you want to call this group of 20-somethings can come to for a break from the real world (which is really freakin’ hard BTW – shouts to no one for telling us this). Laugh, ask questions, cringe, cry, thank your lucky stars you’re not making the mistakes I am, whatever you do when you listen to this podcast just remember to relax and that life really isn’t that serious.

Excerpts from "How the Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World "--An ancient Chinese poem says:"You can't see the true face of Lu Mountain since you are in the Mountain". We are all in the Mountain, but the author of the book is not. When I first read the book, what I thought about most was not mankind, but my own human-hood. Is there a way for us out of this mess we are currently in? If there is, it's not for mankind as a whole, but upto each and every individual. Naturally, it would be a number, a percentage, in the end. -- Ellanjay
