Theresa Corley, 19, left a local bar called the Train Stop, in Franklin, Massachusetts, during the late evening of December 4, 1978. After getting into an argument with her boyfriend, Theresa walked out of the bar alone. After leaving the Train Stop, she was picked up by some men and taken to the Presidential Arms Apartments on West Central Street. She was last seen walking along West Central Street after leaving the apartment. At least two truck drivers reported seeing Theresa after she left the apartment. Her body was later found on Interstate 495 by a man who had stopped off the highway to relieve himself. Someone had brutally murdered Theresa and left her nude body along the highway. Today, Theresa’s murder remains unsolved. Do you know who killed Theresa? This week’s story occurred in Littlefield, Arizona in 2018. Jerry and Susan McFalls, both 62, were retired and owned a home in West Jordan, Utah and a second home in Littlefield, Arizona. Family said they often travelled between homes. Before they went missing in January 2018, they told family they were leaving Littlefield and returning home to West Jordan. But they never made it back home. The local sheriff’s office served a search warrant and visited the Littlefield home to find out what happened to the missing elderly couple. The house was unlocked and their two dogs were inside with no food or water. Deputies found a purse, wallet and cellphone left on the kitchen table. It was as if they had just both vanished. There was a witness who saw the couple climb into an SUV that has never been located. On October 18, 2018, the remains of two unidentified people were located in the desert near the Virgin River Gorge in Arizona. Authorities identified the human remains as Jerry and Susan McFalls, a West Jordan couple who went missing over three years ago. The Mohave County sheriff’s office announced someone had murdered the couple. On the morning of December 23, 1974, Lisa Renee Wilson, 14, Julie Ann Moseley, 9, and Mary Rachel Trlica, 17, travelled to the Seminary South Shopping Center in Fort Worth, Texas to do some shopping. Julie was the sister of Renee’s boyfriend, Terry Moseley.Rachel and Renee had initially planned to go shopping with Terry, but he had made other plans. Julie wanted to go along with them, but was told she needed permission from her mother. She was able to get permission, but was told she needed to be home by 6:00pm. Renee was excited about attending a Christmas party that evening with Terry and wanted to be home early to get ready.At 12:00pm, the girls visited the local Army/Navy surplus store to get some jeans Renee had on layaway. They then drove to the shopping center and parked near Sears .Witnesses would later claim they’d seen the girls inside the mall throughout the afternoon. However, it’s never been confirmed. Keep in mind this was the 70s. Most young girls had long straight hair. And since it was Christmas time, the mall would be full of teenagers out for Christmas break. Rachel’s Oldsmobile was found in the parking lot around 6:00pm. It was locked, and there was single present on the backseat floorboard. However, there was no trace of the girls or any indications of a struggle. I was recently contacted by a woman named Mirya Glover, who is Ernestine Hurt's granddaughter. In 1982, Ernestine was brutally stabbed at 202 E. sixth street in Cincinnati, Ohio. Unfortunately, Ernestine would later die in the hospital from her wounds. Ernestine has just become another crime statistic. Other than her granddaughter, barely anyone remembers her. For many years she has tried to get justice for her beloved maternal grandmother. Mirya was just a child when her grandmother was brutally murdered. She told me the loss devastated the family. Mirya’s mother experienced homelessness and became involved with abusive men. Mirya told me there was a former Cincinnati police officer who may have an idea of who could have killed her grandmother. Mirya said her uncle was a snitch who gave information about drug deals and other local crimes to a Cincinnati police officer. The uncle had enemies who may have wanted to retaliate against him by killing Ernestine. There are no details about the killer. A witness claimed it was possibly a black man who stabbed Ernestine. But the witness wasn’t sure. Today, Mirya is the lone person seeking information about her murdered grandmother. She has pleaded with Cincinnati police and the FBI for help. But neither have given her any useful information leading to her grandmother’s killer. This week’s story is about a young woman who reached her breaking point and decided she no longer had anything to live for. She reached out for help many times, but instead of receiving help, she was met with disdain and even hatred. Nicole Burnham wanted to pursue a career after she graduated from high school. She joined the National Guard and then went active duty and became a full-time soldier. Although her parents weren’t happy with their daughter’s decision, they supported her. Her mother said her going to the military would be the worst decision she had ever made. She was sent to Camp Casey in South Korea on April 15, 2017. Life in South Korea wouldn’t be a positive experience. After an accident that left her with a severed finger, she was then sexually assaulted. In June, a group of fellow soldiers held Nicole down, assaulted her and then took photos of her. Nicole’s mother told me it wasn’t an actual rape, but damn close. She would also be sexually harassed non-stop by a group of the same 4 or 5 male soldiers. One asked her to have a three way sexual encounter with him and his wife. Another soldier asked her when was it going to be his turn to get a piece of that. Another incident involved a soldier shoving a wrench into her rectum with enough force that it ripped her pants.Nicole requested an immediate transfer back to the states. She was terrified and felt alienated. She told her mother she had become an outcast after telling on her abusers. Nicole said people just avoided her and didn’t speak to her. She would end up having to wait 82 days before she could return back to the states. Fort this week’s story, I spoke to Stacey Burnham who is the mother of Nicole Burnham, the young 21- year-old soldier who left us too early. After being sexually harassed and tormented, she felt like killing herself was the only way out of her nightmare inflicted upon her by her fellow soldiers in the United States Army. On January 26, 2018, shortly after her 21st birthday, Nicole hanged herself using her military belt in her room at Fort Carson. Bobby Glenn Ford was 28 when he died. He was found deceased in his home on April 13, 2011. An unknown killer had entered Bobby’s home on that morning and shot him in the head. When police investigated the homicide, they learned that Bobby was growing marijuana in his home. Based on my conversations with family and friends, the Indianapolis Police department think his death may have been over a drug deal gone bad. However, those close to Bobby don’t believe this. They have stated that he was likely murdered by someone close to him for more personal reasons. This case is unusual. There is no information about it anywhere. If you do an online search, it’s almost as Bobby Ford never existed. There are no pleas for justice, no local media stories or any local news videos covering the story.For this story I spoke to Bobby’s sister April Hudson, Emily Nixon and Mike McBride. Emily and Mike were two of Bobby’s closest friends. Both loved him and are angry that his homicide isn’t solved. This week’s story involves the homicide of a 26-year-old aspiring entrepreneur in his Dallas Texas apartment on February 19, 2020. Although Hosia Abdallah Jr’s life began with much difficulty, he refused to let it stop him from achieving his goals. When he was 10 years old, he witnessed his father being murdered in front of his grandmother’s home. Hosiah’s mother, Natasha Johnigan described her son as a high-spirited person and an active father who loved to help others.Hosia graduated from North Garland High School and then attended ad graduated from Grambling State University. He was a father of two who loved his son and daughter. His mother said he had a phenomenal relationship with his children. On February 20, 2020, Hosiah and his roommate were home in their apartment. The roommate had just returned from work and was getting into the shower. He heard someone knock on the door and a woman’s voice. He then heard gunfire. Someone had shot shot and killed Hosiah in the kitchen of his apartment around 11pm and then fled. The roommate didn’t witness the crime because he climbed out of the bathroom window and ran to his vehicle when he heard the gunshots. His mother said “It was someone he trusted that he let inside the house,” Johnigan said.“Somebody that was close to my son did this and me, the family and the friends will not sleep until that person or persons are caught,” she said. ”I’ve heard so many stories. I haven’t heard specifically from the roommate who said he was there and jumped out the window. It was somebody close to him. I know God is so good and he’s so faithful. This week’s story involves the brutal 1971 triple homicide of three men in Indianapolis. On Dec. 1, 1971, a man named John Karnes hadn’t heard from his friends Robert Hinson and Robert Gierse. He visited the residence at 1318 N. LaSalle St. to check on his friends. What he found was horrific. Someone had murdered Indianapolis businessmen Robert Hinson, 30; James C. Barker, 27; and Robert Gierse, 34. Their hands and feet were bound and their throats had been cut. They were nearly decapitated. Marion County coroner, Dr. Dennis J. Nicholas believed the victims were held by their hair to extend their necks and then cut from ear to ear with a knife. Death was almost instantaneous. Indianapolis P.D. had a difficult investigation that lasted many years. There were many suspects and various motives for the three killings. In 2001, authorities received a confession from a man who had already died. The confession was left in a safe deposit box and to be given to authorities upon his passing. The letter read, “These two men I killed in their beds by cutting their throats and there was another guy who wasn’t supposed to be there but I had to kill him too because he showed up,” the letter continued. “Ted was supposed to pay me when he got the insurance money but he kept putting me off because he said he had lost some money, but he said he would pay me as soon as he could." “The paper said that a yellow Oldsmobile was seen at the place where I killed them but it was really my yellow Plymouth Road Runner. I buried my boots because the tracks they found ‘em ‘cuz I knew they could match up on the prints on my boots.”For this story, I spoke to retired Indianapolis police Captain Robert Snow and also Mary Duke who was the daughter of Carroll Horton, the man falsely accused of the murders. They discussed the homicides and how a false accusation affected an innocent man. Snow wrote a book about this homicides titled Slaughter on North LaSalle. This week’s story involves the disappearance of a young woman named Jessica Masker. She disappeared in 2013 and no one has seen or heard from her since. On April 15, 2013. Jessica’s aunt had given her a ride to her cousin’s residence. After Jessica arrived at her cousin’s home, the two argued. Jessica left and walked to a BP gas station at 5061 E Washington St in Indianapolis. After she arrived, she called her brother for a ride home. Her last words to her brother were that “two men came at her wrong.” He told his sister he couldn’t get her and then asked her to call their mother for a ride home. After Jessica left the gas station, no one ever saw or heard from Jessica again. I also want to mention the area is in a dangerous part of Indianapolis often frequented by drug dealers and prostitutes. For unknown reasons, Jessica didn’t ask her mother for help. She left the gas station for an unknown destination. Jessica vanished eight years ago. What happened to her? This week’s story comes from Garfield Heights, a suburb of Cleveland Ohio. There wasn’t anything unusual about December 28, 1964. Beverly and Carol Jarosz watched their parents leave and go to work. The sisters had plans to walk to their grandmother’s house and have lunch with her. Around 1 p.m., Beverly told her grandmother she needed to return home and meet up with her friends Barbara and Margie. An 18-year-old neighbor of Beverly’s grandmother gave Beverly a ride home. Beverly was going to meet with her friend Barbara and then spend the afternoon with another friend. Barbara arrived at 1:25 p.m. She knocked on the door and then heard a thump coming from upstairs. It sounded as if someone was moving furniture. After no one responded, Barbara returned home. She spoke to her friend Margie and told her Beverly never answered the door. The three girls originally planned on spending the day together. Margie called Beverly’s grandmother and told her Beverly didn’t answer the door to Barbara.The grandmother called Beverly’s dad Ted Jarosz and shared her concern. Ted left work to check on his daughter. He arrived home loud music playing. He went upstairs to check on his daughter. He found Beverly lying face down. Someone had murdered his beloved daughter.Nearly six decades have passed since Beverly was murdered at 10921 Thornton Avenue in Garfield Heights, Ohio. Today, the case remains cold. This week’s episode involves a Cincinnati, Ohio woman named Sarah Wallace, 20. She was murdered in July 2007. Sarah had big dreams. She worked at a local pharmacy and had career goals. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t live long enough to achieve her dream of attending college and becoming a nurse. During the early morning hours of July 6, 2007, Sarah was shot to death. Her family believes Sarah told her boyfriend she was moving out of her apartment, breaking up with him and starting a new life. Betsy said that Sarah’s boyfriend had previously threatened with harm if she ever tried to leave him. It all started with a 911 call just before 4 a.m. The call came from the boyfriend’s mother. She stated, “My son shot his girlfriend, my son accidentally shot his girlfriend, he believes she is dead, they were fighting over the gun.”The boyfriend claimed Sarah was suicidal and wanted to kill herself. Allegedly, she picked up his gun and threatened to shoot herself. He claims while trying to take the gun from her, she was accidentally shot dead. The case was brought in front of a grand jury, but they refused to take the case to trial. I spoke to Betsy Wallace and Angela Walters, who are two of Sarah's family members. They continue seeking justice for Sarah. This week’s story comes from East Dublin, Georgia and involves a man named Brian Samples who vanished from his hotel room and was later found deceased. According to his family, law enforcement hasn’t officially ruled Brian’s death a homicide. But his family is 100% positive someone murdered Brian. According to East Dublin Police Chief Bill Luecke, Brian’s death is questionable. Brian’s last contact with his family was a text on July 6, 2019. Lori Duncan, who is Brian’s sister, said he texted that he had met up with some bad people. He was last seen alive on July 6 at the Red Carpet Inn in East Dublin where he had been staying. The family unsuccessfully spent many hours trying to find Brian. His body was discovered in a heavily wooded area in October 2019. Law enforcement confirmed Brian's death in November 2019. Brian was a skilled carpenter and Christian. Although he had battled drug addiction, his sister Lori told me Brian was a good man who loved his family and God. Brian’s family is convinced he was killed by someone he knew. For this story, I spoke to Brian’s sister Lori Duncan. Jenny Maxwell was born in Brooklyn on September 3, 1941. She was the only child of Norwegian immigrants. She came from a large family. Many of her relatives settled in Michigan. Early in life, Jenny knew she wanted to become a Hollywood star. In 1958, she was discovered by director Vincente Minnelli. Although Jenny was just a teenager, Vincent knew she had star power. Jenny appeared on television shows like The Twilight Zone, Dr. Kildare, and Bonanza. In 1961, she played a spoiled rich girl in an Elvis Presley movie called Blue Hawaii. After a ten year run in Hollywood, she decided to give up acting and focus more on motherhood.She married a wealthy attorney named Evrin “Tip” Roeder on February 17, 1970. The marriage was a nightmare for both Roeder and Jenny. They argued, cheated on each other and were headed for divorce court after a decade together. On June 10, 1981 around 3 p.m., a gunman approached the couple and forced them inside Jenny’s condo. The gunman shot Jenny twice in the head and shot Tip once in the stomach. Jenny died immediately, but Tip managed to stagger away and get help. He died two hours later. A detective at the scene told a lone reporter he thought it was a robbery gone bad. And since 1981, that’s where the story has ended. Unknown to the public, the case was actually solved. But no one ever picked up the story and went any further with it. For all these years, everyone has always thought the murders of Jenny Maxwell and her husband Tip Roeder were unsolved. This wasn’t true. Fast forward to 2019. Jenny and her first cousin Vera were close as children. Vera was older and would spend time babysitting Jenny. Their fathers were brothers. Vera loved her little cousin and was devastated when Jenny was murdered. For years, she wondered what had happened to her little cousin she used to babysit. Vera’s life would eventually come to an end in 2019. However, before she died, she had one final request. She asked her son Buddy Moorehouse to find out what happened to her beloved cousin. She had to know before she died. Vera’s son Buddy Moorehouse learned that Jenny’s homicide was solved in 1981. But for all these years, Jenny’s family didn’t know because the information was never made public. Before Buddy’s mother died, he was able to give his mother the answers she had so patiently waited several decades for.For this unique story, I spoke to Buddy Moorhouse, who gave me many details about his famous cousin’s death and how it was solved. This week’s unsolved homicide story comes from Arkansas and involves the brutal murder of a 19-year-old woman named Melissa Witt. Melissa worked at a local dental clinic. On December 1, 1994, Melissa Witt parked her car in the Fort Smith, Arkansas Bowling World parking lot. Her mother, Mary Ann Witt, was a member of the bowling alley’s bowling league. Melissa often met with her mother at the bowling alley so they could have dinner together. Melissa was abducted from the Bowling World parking lot. She was struck in the head. Evidence found at the scene showed signs of a struggle. Blood was found in the parking lot along with her keys and one earring. On January 13, 1995, two hunters were walking through the Ozark National Forest. Around the Turner Bend area, the men found Melissa’s naked body. Someone had strangled her. For this story, I spoke to LaDonna Humphrey who is the Executive Producer of the Witt project and Aric Mitchell who is with the Ft. Smith police department. LaDonna created a documentary about Melissa Witt that is scheduled to be released sometime this year. Unfortunately, Melissa’s mother Mary Anne died on March 20, 2011 without knowing who killed her daughter. But it’s still not too late to identify Melissa’s killer. This week’s story involves a double homicide that occurred on October 12, 2001 in Cincinnati, Ohio at 1278 Quebec Road. Frank Drees and his friend Vicki Waters were out at a bar enjoying some time together. While at the bar, an ex-boyfriend of Vicki’s confronted Frank and Vicki. There was a verbal confrontation that ended with the ex being kicked out of the bar. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the couple had asked a friend for a ride home. The friend said she would drive them home after she used the restroom. But after using the restroom, Frank and Vicki had already left. She assumed they found another ride. Shortly after Frank and Vicki arrived at Frank’s residence on Quebec Road, they were murdered. It’s believed the killer approached them and shot Frank first. He died immediately. Vicki survived being shot, but later died in the hospital. Her family had to make the horrific decision to remove her from life support.
