Are you trying to be a more positive person? Here’s what I would do if I was just starting now.✨Focus on liking and loving myself. I went so long hating things about myself. Hating how I looked in pictures or how I would overreact to things, too controlling. I could go on and on. I didn’t always treat others well because I couldn’t even treat myself well.✨Actually visualize my dream life. Instead of visualizing I would ignore my dream life! I would see things on TV that were in line with what I wanted and instead of letting myself dream I would skip the channel!✨Pick one small positive habit to focus on. I started with journaling and affirmations. These helped change me from the inside out. Next, I focused on taking good care of myself one habit at a time: developing a skin care routine, boundaries and embracing my natural curly hair.✨Practice gratitude daily. Think about it, write it down, talk about it. And remember God gives in Superabundance!✨See a professional. Your mental health is SO important. I wish I would have reached out to professionals in my 20s vs. waiting until my 30s.
