Jenrry Mejia, the former Pitcher, who is now serving a lifetime suspension for being a 3-time MLB PED offender, held a press conference at his lawyer's office in New York. Through his attorney, he told reporters that he plans to appeal his permanent suspension along with the MLBPA. Instead of sitting down for a 1 on 1 interview, his attorney's suggested his speak in Spanish. This podcast contains the attorney's statement, MLB's response, and the only things Mejia said publicly in English.

This was recorded on March 8, 2016, less than 24 hours after Maria Sharapova had announced that she had failed a drug test, and was facing suspension. Sponsors were dropping her. We discussed the story, and debated the ramnifications. Also discussed : Gambling in Tennis, the impact of Serena Williams, and the recent passing of writer/broadcaster Bud Collins.
