What Happened To The Obama-Biden Bromance? | Katie Petrick | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:06:49

Joe Biden announced his candidacy for the Democratic 2020 presidential nomination on April 25, 2019. Being the former vice president under President Barack Obama, one would think that getting the endorsement of his former boss would be appealing and quite lucrative. But on the same day of the announcement, Biden claimed that he actually asked the 44th president to not make an endorsement. It has been almost one year since that time, and Biden has come out triumphant in the King of the Hill race between the more than two dozen Democratic candidates. Yet, still no endorsement. What happened to the bromance that Biden and Obama once shared?

Comrade Sanders Says Bye Bye, Maybe | Katie Petrick | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:07:34

Bernard Sanders (I-VT) has decided to suspend his campaign to seek to the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential election. After being more than 300 delegates behind, and being locked away in his Vermont home for a few weeks, on April 8 via a live announcement on his website, Sanders said he was suspending the campaign. The reaction by his supporters was predictable as tears rolled, screams were yelled, and beds were punched. But everyone can rejoice and enjoy a few pudding cups now in the name of the comrade because later there may be no pudding to enjoy. If we know anything about Sanders, it is that he will not actually leave when he should and he may have some fight in him yet for this 2020 season. So grab the pudding and watch the chaos unfold.

Late Night Funnies With Biden & Pelosi | Katie Petrick | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:08:46

Late night hosts are struggling to find content. Being cooped up in their mansions, they rely on Skype interviews and call-ins. There is no cheaper source than to get the politicians on the airwaves, no matter the location from which they beam themselves. While late night shows are intended to be funny, they have become sadder than ever, not just because the hosts are left to their own devices, but because those devices have revealed even more so how their humor relies on politics. And there are no more humorless politicians than former vice president Joe Biden and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

 Trump Impeachment…Again? Democrats Won’t Quit | Katie Petrick | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:09:37

The world is in the throes of the coronavirus pandemic, so unnaturally politics has become the focus of the media and the politicians. And now it seems that impeachment may come up again for President Donald Trump, if Rep. Adam’s Schiff has anything to say about it. Impeachment is Schiff’s magnum opus, so by reading his tweet that a “nonpartisan commission to review our response and how we can better prepare for the next pandemic” is what Schiff is working on, the next logical action is impeachment. The media’s response to this week’s activities has played right into this line of thinking, making it ever so clear that the informants and the leaders are learning all the wrong lessons from this devastation. © FreedomProject 2020
