Summary: Bernard Sanders (I-VT) has decided to suspend his campaign to seek to the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential election. After being more than 300 delegates behind, and being locked away in his Vermont home for a few weeks, on April 8 via a live announcement on his website, Sanders said he was suspending the campaign. The reaction by his supporters was predictable as tears rolled, screams were yelled, and beds were punched. But everyone can rejoice and enjoy a few pudding cups now in the name of the comrade because later there may be no pudding to enjoy. If we know anything about Sanders, it is that he will not actually leave when he should and he may have some fight in him yet for this 2020 season. So grab the pudding and watch the chaos unfold.
