In what is becoming the age of COVID-19, coronavirus, Chinese virus, or what have you, it is apparent that power and control are in the minds of certain government officials. When humans are placed under such circumstances, the truth is revealed, and the government officials are showing that not only are the seven deadly sins present in various examples around the country, but the government is focusing its attention on making everyday people feel as if they sinned simply for valuing rights and liberties. The virus may be deadly, but so is the excess of sin being cast upon Americans by government officials.

Everyone who has paid any attention knows that after the initial concern and camaraderie of being in this thing together wore off, politics would seep into all discussions of moving forward in the midst of COVID-19. Those leading the charge and yelling loudest are the politicians and the media. At the top of the mountain is none other than Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who has plastered her face on as many news networks and late-night shows as she can get on to rouse her fan base. But she was not the only one whose antics demonstrate her level of tone deafness. Oh no, she has friends.
