The Kevin Sheehan Show

Kevin opens the show talking John Wall's ruptured achilles with Scott Jackson. Is the Wall era over? Both Kevin and Scott think yes. Former Redskins & Texans GM Charley Casserly joins the show to talk Super Bowl, Patriots, Redskins, and quarterbacks in the upcoming NFL Draft. Also, Kevin thinks the Lakers' 42-point loss to the Pacers is a result of an off-putting trade deadline situation.

Kevin and Thom opened the show talking about the Super Bowl, the Patriots' dynasty, and the SB TV ratings. They also talked about the boycott of the Super Bowl in New Orleans and if their fans are taking things too far. They discussed the "Way Too Early NFL Power Rankings" and the Redskins' place on that list. Wizards and Bryce Harper conversation on the show too.

Kevin opens the show with a detailed recap of Super Bowl 53, both on the field and what we saw on TV. Also on the show a Weekend DVR which included Caps, Wizards, Terps, and more. 

Kevin opens the show with a reaction to Josh Norman saying the Redskins would have won the Super Bowl if Alex Smith didn't get hurt. Bruce Allen spoke again...Kevin reacted to some of that and the Ted Leonsis interview yesterday where he said the Wizards won't be trading Wall, Beal, or Porter. Chris Cooley joined the show and talked Skins and Super Bowl. Kevin had a Super Bowl Smell Test and a Super Bowl pick with Andy Pollin.

Kevin opens the show with a brief recap of the Wizards impressive win over Indiana and then he gets to the Rob Ryan hire by the Redskins. He talks about trading up in the draft for a quarterback and whether or not the Redskins should do it. Thom joined the show. They talked Skins, Maryland investigation cost, Goodell press conference, NFL Hall of Fame, and Bryce Harper. Kevin finished up the show with memories of the Redskins Super Bowl 22 win 31 years ago today. 

Kevin opens the show talking about Kevin O'Connell taking over as the Redskins' Offensive Coordinator and whether or not he's in line to be the Skins' next head coach. Jimmy Patsos was a guest on the show and they talked about everything....Terps, Wizards, Under Armor, Zion Williamson, Super Bowl and more.

Kevin has the following news on Alex Smith to start the show--The Redskins won't use the "nuclear" option (cutting Smith and absorbing all of the cap hit in '19) on Alex Smith. They will consider restructuring his deal to push some of Smith's cap hit out into the future. Kevin has lots more on this situation. Thom joins the show with a Washington Post beef. Kevin and Thom discuss sports gambling, Bryce Harper, and Bradley Beal/1st rounder to New Orleans for Anthony Davis. Kevin finishes up with a Maryland-Northwestern pick.

Kevin has a ton of thoughts on Ian Rappaport's tweet that the Skins will be without Alex Smith in 2019. How should the Redskins approach the QB situation? Who should the Redskins be looking at and what will they end up doing? He also talks Maryland basketball, Anthony Davis, and even Rent Live.

Kevin opens up the show talking Wizards-Warriors and then takes a closer look at the awkward Redskins' coaching staff situation. Walt Williams joins the show to talk Terps hoops and his book with co-author Tony Massenburg on Len Bias. Andy Pollin finishes up the show with a look back at Super Bowl 26 (Skins over Buffalo) which was 27 years ago tomorrow.

Kevin reacts to DJ Swearinger ripping Jay Gruden on Instagram. Jason LaConfora/CBS was a guest on the show and shed more details on his Skins' report from last week. Thom called in from vacation with his take on Bruce Allen's interview Tuesday in Mobile. Steve Sands/Golf Channel called in from Torrey Pines where Tiger kicks off his season today. Kevin had a Wizards-Warriors pick and he also talked about one of the best hoops performances of the season last night and it wasn't James Harden.

Bruce Allen spoke and Kevin recapped all of it. Michael Phillips from the Richmond Times-Dispatch was in Mobile and part of the media group that interviewed Allen....he joined the show. ESPN Senior NHL Writer Greg Wyshynski was on the show to discuss why the Caps have lost 6 straight. Kevin led the show with the most relevant NFL Overtime data. 

Bruce Allen is scheduled to speak later today in Mobile. Thom encourages on-site reporters to be prepared and then he and Kevin make predictions on what Bruce will say. Alex Smith was at the Wizards game with a contraption on his leg. A former NFL team doctor wrote about his likely prognosis. Thom weighs in on the NFL Playoffs and Jason LaConfora's report on Dan Snyder's pursuit of Todd Bowles. Kevin recaps Maryland's loss at Michigan State. 

A memorable day of NFL Championship games recapped and then Kevin gets into the Jason LaConfora story that detailed Dan Snyder's aggressive pursuit of Todd Bowles and Gregg Williams. Also a quick Maryland recap of their win at Ohio State and a preview of tonight's huge game at Michigan State.

Kevin opens the show talking about the Wizards win over the Knicks in London and then previews the NFC and AFC Championship games. He talks Redskins for a bit then brings Scott Van Pelt on to discuss both title games and the Terps' big game tonight at Ohio State. Kevin has two Smell Test plays and then brings on Andy Pollin who goes back to the Skins' 1987 NFC Championship win over Minnesota and what happened a few nights before it. 

Kevin and Thom open the show talking about Greg Manusky's return to the Redskins as Defensive Coordinator. The Redskins were ranked 5th on a list that included among others, Spirit Airlines and Facebook. They talked about that list. They also discussed the Patriots, NFL Playoffs, James Harden, Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, and Thom's MLB Hall of Fame ballot.
