Kevin looks around the division before talking about his experience at Penn State this weekend, and where it ranked compared to other atmospheres at sporting events he has been at. He then goes Around the NFL where he talks about the Colts' loss and Frank Reich's decision to go for it on 4th down. He also thinks the Browns got screwed. The Ravens look like a potential Super Bowl contender And who exactly are the great teams in the NFL? All that and more in his 10 points from Sunday. Plus, he talks about the revelation that Doug Williams may have found himself in trouble for bringing in Adrian Peterson, and the rest of the sports slate, including college football, in Weekend DVR.

Today's show starts with a quick look at the first three weeks of the season for the Redskins, and what we can glean from the information that we know. He then turns to Thursday Night Football, primarily around Kirk Cousins' game and how good the Rams look. Trevor Matich then comes on to talk about the college football slate, as well as his thoughts on what the Redskins have done so far. They talk about Ohio State/Penn State, the SEC, and more. After Kevin lets Matich go, Mike Jones joins to talk about the Rams/Vikings game, which he was at, as well as the rest of what he's seen in the first three weeks of the season in the NFL, including the Giants and more. Kevin wraps up by giving his picks around football this weekend, plus his smell test picks, which includes a whole heaping of college football picks. The show ends with Andy Pollin joining to give some historical background on the bye and big Redskins moments coming out of it.

A listener tweeted about Dan Snyder, so Kevin and Thom give their thoughts on if Snyder is still heavily involved in the decisions around the Redskins. They then talk about the first three weeks of the seasons for the Redskins. Who has impressed? What are they still concerned about? What could trip the Redskins up after the bye week. They move on to the Nats home finale from Wednesday night, and Kevin asks Thom if he thinks Bryce will resign. He also talks about Max Scherzer's Cy Young odds, and what makes him angry about this year's Cy Young race. NFL Power Poll is next, and who has been left off of Kevin's list? Finally, Scott Van Pelt joins to talk Tiger's win and more.

Kevin opens today show by taking a deeper look into the NFC East off of yesterday's "2-team race" comment. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Redskins, Eagles, Cowboys and Giants, and who could surprise? He's then joined by The Czabe, Steve Czaban, to talk the Redskins, the roughing the passer penalties, Tiger's big win and more. After Czabe, Mark Zuckerman calls in before what could be Bryce Harper's last game in DC as a member of the Washington Nationals. What does he think the odds are of Bryce leaving, and will Max Scherzer win the Cy Young after notching his 300th strikeout of the year on Tuesday? Kevin then wraps up with NFL Buy or Sell.

Barry Svrluga from The Washington Post joins to talk about the lack of fans at the Redskins home opener and why it happened at this point, and also discusses the big announcement from Congressional that the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup are coming to the area. NFL Buy or Sell is next, where Kevin buys an aspect of the Cowboys, but isn't as bullish on the Bengals as some are. Finally, is DC going to legalize sports gambling? All that and more on today's show.

Thom Loverro has once again braved the long journey to join Kevin. Thom gives his thoughts on the Redskins home opener, both on the field and in the crowd. They also discuss what Chris Thompson said in the locker room, and what the Redskins players said they felt in the locker room and at practices before the game. The Redskins brought in two receivers, are either of them going to be helpful? They then share thoughts on the Nationals, including the somewhat-starting revelation that this week could feature the last 7 games in DC for Bryce Harper as a National. Thom also gives his thoughts on the GGG/Canelo fight, and reminisces about old Sugar Ray Leonard fights. Finally, The Sports Fix is officially back, as Kevin and Thom get into a fight about Colt McCoy.

Thom Loverro is back in studio with Kevin, and the two of them start the show reading some emails, and they talk about the Nationals. ESPN's Scott Van Pelt calls in to talk about the Redskins and about Lefty Driesell's Hall of Fame induction speech. They also talk to Fox Five Meteorologist Sue Palka about what to expect from hurricane Florence, then they have their first NFL Power Poll, and they talk about the Redskins and their ticket sales, and they close out with some thoughts on the Bengals / Ravens game.

Kevin opens the show by taking issue with a photo of him in the Washington Post, and he also reads some emails and talks about the Nats chances to make the playoffs (relax, he knows it's a long shot), and he makes a bold prediction about the Redskins. Then he talks more Redskins with ESPN's John Keim, and after that he speaks with Jeff Ermann of 247sports.com about Maryland's 2-0 start to their football season and what will happen in the wake of the internal report on the death of Jordan McNair, and he close things out with a quick round of "NFL : Buy or Sell".
