About Kate Hatherell: Kate Hatherall runs The Home Design School, a website, blog and online school, teaching people how to decorate their homes, without needing to hire an interior designer. She’s a teacher turned interior designer, and loves helping people make their homes beautiful. She is a firm believer a home environment is really important to people’s sense of wellbeing, yet the interior design industry is often quite elitist, and prevents people from having access to affordable, good quality advice.  She aims to provide people with no-nonsense advice, and practical help too.
