What are the cages in your life? What is holding you back from achieving the life of your dreams? --- After last week's episode, I asked that you spend the week writing down your limiting beliefs and what you feel like is getting in the way of you achieving your dreams. In this week's episode we're going to discuss taking action to escape the cage. Action is your best friend. The first step in dissolving limiting beliefs is action. Action creates forward progress. Action creates affirmation. Regardless of whether the action is correct or not, it still creates progress of breaking free from your cage and ultimately creates a positive outcome. Right actions shows you that you’ve done something correctly. Wrong actions show you where you need to improve. Action creates a win/win situation. You’re less likely to feel your way into acting than you are to act your way into feeling. If you take action, you’re more likely to feel the motivation. Waiting to feel that spark of brilliance and motivation is less likely to happen. Moments of brilliance are inspired by taking action. When we’re in the cage we live a life of worry. Worry is a result of negative thinking. When we let negative thoughts creep in it causes us to remain stagnant. When we worry too much it becomes a downward spiral. The weight of worry is what plagues most people from forward progress, but the sooner we take action the easier it is to dispel worry and negative thoughts. If you live with a worried mindset you will not take action. We have a choice. We can either choose to be negative and have limiting beliefs or we can choose to have faith in our future and hope for the best. Both mindsets are a choice, but only one will allow you to escape the cage. Kill or be killed. The lion approaches life from a dominant standpoint that says “I have to do this or I will die.” Come at success with the attitude that there is no option. Roar your way to the head of the pack. Your life matters. When you are in the cage you’re saying that your life does not matter. To escape the cage we have to be intentional with our thoughts and our actions and be filled with hope, faith, and positivity. If you're still having trouble believing that you can break free from your cage, you need to ask yourself, "What if?" What if you could achieve your dreams? When we think and truly believe "What if", we have unlimited potential. We have the opportunity to change anything that we want to change in our life. The cage is a mindset and we have the ability to change the way we think. You have the key to unlock the cage.
