For some of us when we were kids, Hot Wheels cars were THE toy! We'd spend hours of dreaming and wishing we could have a car just like our favorite Hot Wheel to drive when we grew up...and now NBC is making that dream a reality with the new summer competition, "Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge!" Host Rutledge Wood takes builders, reunites them with a car from their younger days, and gives them a week to turn it into a real deal Hot Wheels showstopper! We caught up with Rutledge this morning to find out all about it!!

I think by now we've all played F**k Marry Kill...whether it be on the Morning Show, or just hanging out drinking with friends...but today we learned something very important...and that's if your answers match Kyles? You. Are. F**ked.

We've been friends with comedian Emery Emery since the very beginnings of the morning show, so it's always great when he brings his dark brand of comedy back to KC...and this time he brought his friend and amazing impressionist, Justin Rupple with him...and we covered a lot of ground in a short time!

It's a fact...rock music...more specifically loud rock music...thrive on electric guitars and ass kicking solos. But, for a long time, it seems like there has been a real lack of guitar heroes. And that's why Extreme's first album of new music in 15 years, "Six",  feels like such a breath of fresh air...because in guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, they have a bona fide guitar slinger on the level of some of the greatest of his generation. And now that the full album is out, it was cool to catch up with Nuno this morning to talk more about the album and much more!

Lance Armstrong is and has been many things...road race cycling legend, philanthropist, businessman...and now, reality show astronaut? The new Fox celebrity reality competition series, Stars On Mars, pits various celebs against each other to see who can rise to the top through working together in a simulated Mars colony...the winner gaining the bragging rights of being "the brightest star in the galaxy!" We talked to Lance about it this morning...and it was clear that he is in no hurry to do it all again!

When it came to 80s excess, few bands did it better than RATT...sex, drugs & Ratt n Roll led them to multiple gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums!! And now they've released a limited edition box set, available on CD and vinyl, comprised of their first 5 albums, titled "The Atlantic Years"...and we talk to frontman Stephen Pearcy about it this morning!

After moving to LA at age 19 with an eye on becoming an actor, a freak accident involving a line drive softball left Drew Lynch with a severe stutter…so he did what anyone with a life altering condition would do…he started a career in stand-up comedy! But that led him to landing at 2nd place on Season 10 of America’s Got Talent, as well as releasing two comedy specials, “Concussed”, and “And These Are Jokes”!   And now he's just dropped a new special available on YouTube and on his website, "Short King"! Drew called us from on tour in Bulgaria this morning...mainly to find out who farted in the front row of his recent KC show...but we talked about other stuff too!!

Comic Fortune Feimster is on top of the world right now! Not only does she have 2 popular Netflix stand up specials, but she's also on the #1 Netflix show "Fubar" alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger...and now she's announced a new tour, the "Live Laugh Love" tour, that's rolling in to the Midland this November!!! Fortune called us this morning to tell us all about it!!

With so many bands on tour right now, it takes a special line up for people to choose where to spend their hard earned money...and one tour that just popped up on the radar that is causing a lot of chatter is the Static X/ Sevendust/ Dope tour!! Not only are Static X bringing a huge production on the road, but our friends in Sevendust will be riding high on the wave of their newest album, "Truth Killer" when it drops in July...and we caught up  Sevendust frontman and our friend Lajon Witherspoon to find out more about the tour!!

When it debuted on television in 1989, the show American Gladiators was unlike anything ever see on on network TV. For 9 seasons, Americans watch regular Joes try to best the behemoth Gladiators with often painful results. And one of the OGs (Original Gladiators) was Deron "Malibu" McBee stopped by the show this morning to talk about the show's enduring popularity and the new ESPN doc that explores the story behind the show that helped launch reality TV!

When our friend Sean "Sticks" Larkin was on A&E's "Live PD", it was the biggest show on cable television...but pressure from some sections of the public, in the wake of police protests across the country, ended the show's run while it was on top. But Sean and his cohorts are back on the Reelz network with "On Patrol Live"...and they're killing it in the ratings AND just won an excellence in media award from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We caught up with Sticks this morning to find out more!

For a guy who said he was retiring a whole back, former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider sure seems to be working more than ever! Screenplays, a graphic novel on the horizon...AND he's just released his first novel, a coming of age story titled, "Frats"....and we caught up with him to find out more about it !

When Black Sabbath released their debut album in 1970, little did those four lads from Birmingham England would change music forever. And whole Tony Iommi crafted the heavy riffs, it was bassist Geezer Butler whose lyrics painted the pictures that create an aura that would inspire bands for decades to come. And now, Geezer has told his story in his new book, "Into The Void: From Birth To Black Sabbath and Beyond"...and we finally got the chance to talk with this legend.

We've had #1 Female Competitive Eater Mike Sudo on the show numerous times...but the last time we got a little revelation that her fella, fellow competitive eater Nick Wahry, alos has a 9 to 5 job as the manager of an adult toy store in Florida!! And with the big Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Competition on the horizon, we talked to Nick this morning about everything from eating 9lbs of Spam to rubber dicks!!
