For here on the show, Motley Crue was a huge part of our growing up...they were the soundtrack for a whole lotta poor life choices...and, for us, the biggest part of that was the guitar work of Mick Mars...and when Mick left/was forced out of Motley, we knew the band would never be the same. But we also knew that we hadn't heard the last of Mick...and with his long awaited solo album, "The Other Side of Mars", he's shown that  he still he still has a lot to say...and we had the chance to talk to him about it this morning!

If you grew up in the 70s, you likely spent your Saturday mornings getting your mind blown by the endless list of shows brought to you by Sid and Marty Krofft! H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, Sigmund & The Sea Monsters, Banana Splits, Lidsville, the Bugloos and SO many more!!! And this morning...we got to meet a listen to a real piece of television history, the one and only Sid Krofft....and it was truly amazing.

While Johnny and Henry Winkler have become dear friends over the last decade, and we've gone on ad nauseum about our love of Happy Days...we've never managed to have anyone else, apart from Marion Ross, on the show....until today. With the reunion of Henry Winkler, Don Most and Anson Williams at ComiCon this weekend, we were excited to have Anson on the show this more to talk all about the amazing bond between the stars of one of the greatest shows ever on network TV!

Yesterday, we lost one of the best and brightest people we've had the privilege to know, Blackberry Smoke drummer Brit Turner. Since his diagnosis with glioblastoma in November of '22, he fought with everything he had in him....continuing to tour and record with the band up until December of last year. The band released a statement that reads: “It is with the deepest sorrow that we inform everyone that our brother Brit Turner has moved on from this life,” the group said in its statement. “If you had the privilege of knowing Brit on any level, you know he was the most caring, empathetic, driven and endearing person one could ever hope to meet. Brit was Blackberry Smoke’s True North, the compass that instituted the ideology that will continue to guide this band.  Brit has battled glioblastoma since his diagnosis in the fall of 2022 and fought every day. We ask for prayers for his family and band brothers. More information on arrangements will be forthcoming. Thank you to everyone who has supported and been there for Brit and his family through this fight.” Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Brit would tell you the same thing...we was larger than life, funny, kind, a family man, and truly a one of a kind human being. And we here are going to miss him very much. Rest easy, Brit. We'll see you on the other side.  

Drummer Artimus Pyle joined Lynyrd Skynyrd before the band recorded their 3rd album, right as the band's popularity was set to go worldwide...and then just a couple years later, it came to a tragic end in a heavily wooded area in Mississippi. Artimus, miraculously, was one of the survivors of that crash....and eventually started his own band, The Artimus Pyle Band...and now he's assembled names like Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Dunn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Dolly Parton and more to pay tribute to Skynyrd's legacy with a new tribute album!!

It's been almost a year since we've talked to our friend, comedian Drew Lynch, so when we found out he was rollin' into Wichita this week, we figured we'd call him up and ask "WHY THEM NOT US???"....and, as always with Drew, shit got weird, right away!

It’s been a minute since we’ve had our friend April Macie in studio to hang out…I mean, we get it, she’s been busy being married and living a beautiful life in Italy and Malibu…so when we heard she was rollin’ into KC to perform at The Comedy Club of Kansas City, we were happy to welcome her back into our sweaty uncomfortable embrace…and it was fantastic  catching up!
