Today is going to be a hopefully exciting day as we await the results of George's MRI which will determine if he's fit to fly back to the states to start the next round of treatments and surgeries to get George healthy and working again...but meanwhile, it seems Johnny has settled in to his new role as Man Servant! It's been a minute since we've had a chance to talk to our old friend Larry The Cable Guy...but it never fails that no matter how long it's been since we've talked, it's like no time has passed at all!
On January 15th, 1978, Kathy Kleiner Rubin was one of several women attacked in a Florida sorority house, leaving two dead. Some may say she was lucky to survive the brutal assault...but sometimes, survival comes with a whole lot more to deal with...as she tells in her new book, "A Light In The Dark"....and we talked to Kathy this morning about it.
It's Friday, and we're just a couple of days from finding out when we can get our friend George back to the states to get the additional care he needs to get back to 100%...but first, Johnny had to do battle with a wild island cockroach!!
You may not know the name Ed Dwight, but you should. A native of KCK, he took his childhood obsession with airplanes to joining the Air Force, becoming a test pilot in a time when black men had to fight just to SERVE in the military, ending up becoming the first African American to be selected for the Aerospace Research Pilot School with an eye on becoming the first black astronaut...but that part of his story came to an abrupt halt when those in power decided the country wasn't ready for a black man in space. And now he, and others, tell their story in the upcoming documentary, The Space Race...and we had the honor of meeting Ed this morning!

Today was, in all honesty, one of the greatest mornings we've had on the show in months...because after months of battling bacterial meningitis among other issues...our dear friend George Kieffer walked into the offices of the Curacao Sea Aquarium and the Dolphin Academy for the first time in months...and he sat down to talk with Johnny...and it was fucking amazing.
Today's George update is a good one, not only because it's looking better and better every day for George to be able to return to KC to get the medical care needed to get him back to 100%, but also because we juuuuust might get a visit from him on this show!! Check out Johnny's update for more!!

Waiting on the results from his latest MRI to see if he's cleared to fly back to KC, and then the real works begins to get him healthy and working again!! Johnny gives us the latest info on George's condition and what's next in store for G'Andre!!
We got to know of actress/host/journalist Kelly Rizzo through her husband and our longtime friend, Bob Saget. And one thing was certain, Bob was madly in love with her. And now that she's competing on the new season of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, we finally got to talk to Kelly on the phone...and what was supposed to be a chat about the show, turned into a bit of a tribute to one of our favorite people, Bob Saget.

Former MadTV star Aries Spears is a comedy lifer. He's been at it since his teens, eventually appearing on Def Comedy Jam and Showtime At The Apollo, which led to his gig on MadTV and in the film Jerry Maguire...and since those early days he's pushed forward to realize his dreams, and luckily, we got the chance to catch up with him this morning!
