JD also addresses Senator Boxer calling Hobby Lobby hypocritical for not opposing Viagra, and then tackles WorldVision's new homosexual "marriage" inclusion policy in the Daily #DOWNGRADE.Pol

Original Air Date: March 25, 2014 On today's program, JD starts with the news story about a school district that originally banned - and the recanted - allowing a 9 year-old boy to carry a "My Little Pony" backpack to school. Then, he discusses a church plant in New York City that is advertising "You don't have to believe in God to join our church." Then, JD asks the question of how sermons should be started, using the preaching of MacArthur, Piper, Azurdia and Washer and in the Daily #DOWNGRADE segment, he reveals how you SHOULD NOT start a sermon, using as an example the so-called "preaching" of Liberty University campus pastor, Clayton King.

Original Air Date: March 24, 2014 On today's program, JD briefly encourages folks to pay attention to the reporting on Louisiana College from the Town Talk and then laments the continual lecturing on being "divisive" from the posts at SBC Voices, this time opining about a post from Mike Leake. Also covered is the Illinois Governor asserting that a 40 hour work week and a ten dollar minimum wage is "old as the Bible" and discusses recent news that Idaho Governor signed a new law nullifying all future federal gun laws. JD then discusses 20 former Mars Hill pastors calling for accountability for Mark Driscoll and then tackles a Charisma magazine article claiming that Driscoll's critics are "enemies within the church" and JD points out that what Phil Johnson, Chris Rosebrough and others are not enemies. In the Daily #DOWNGRADE, JD looks at another Charisma news article (this time it's a good one) that explains why the author can't endorse secular songs being sung in worship services, he developed in part out of a visit to Steven Furtick's Elevation Church.   

Original Air Date: March 21, 2014 On today's episode, JD laments a New York-based abortion group that gives out "coat-hanger pendants necklaces" to financial donors who help pay for the abortions of low-income women. Then, he talks about the death of Fred Phelps and an atheist student at Virginia Tech who claims "forced baptisms" are happening on campus. JD tackles tattoos in the Daily #DOWNGRADE segment, as one Florida pastor offered congregants to pay for their tattoo of the church's logo on their skin.

In the Daily #DOWNGRADE, JD discusses whether or not zombies are in the Bible and why we continue to leaven church with culture.

JD also explains why he's moving on from his coverage of Louisiana Coverage, new program "Wiki Worship" that allow congregants to "help edit their pastor's sermon, and then discusses Tim Guthrie in the Daily Downgrade.

Original Air Date: March 17, 2014 On today's doublesode, JD first begins with an update about The Caner Project and then discusses altar call manipulation tactics and looks specifically at Bill Britt's altar call as an example. For the Daily #DOWNGRADE, JD discusses briefly a pastor who set himself on fire over the weekend as a part of his sermon series.  

Original Air Date: March 14, 2014 Friday's program summary: In this episode, JD discusses the new revelation that SACS has opened an investigation into the Louisiana College on account of the information released on the Pulpit & Pen Program. He then asks if it's necessary to separate secular from sacred music, using Lecrae as an example. In the Daily #DOWNGRADE, JD discusses an advertisement from a Denver (non)church that says "It's like Church, except without the parts that suck" and plays a clip from that "minister's" YouTube channel and provides commentary on the #DOWNGRADE therein.

JD also discusses Candace Cameron-Bure and the topic of modesty, then discusses modern culture's desire for a 'hot' Jesus in the Daily #DOWNGRADE.

Original Air Date: March 11, 2014 In this LC-Free episode, JD talks about Rick Warren's allegorizing of the David and Goliath narrative and his invitation to Ariana Huffington speaking at his church this weekend. JD explains why he agrees with Arizona Governor Jan Brewer's veto of the bill asserting Christian liberty (although he agrees with the veto for different reasons) in regard to the right not to provide service that violates conscience.
