Stress can be positive or negative....as dog owners we don't want to stress out our dogs.  As dog trainers, sometimes learning something new and exciting is stressful.  We Believe You.....what does that mean?  You will have to tune in to find out!

During one of the busiest weeks of the year we ended up with a Kennel Cough outbreak which caused me to close to prevent the spread of it.  Listen to what kind of a day I had last Monday!

This was a great episode as Chelsea and I talked about two BIG issues.  And when it comes to body language, when you are working with a dog with only 3 legs and 1 eye, you have to be on your game! 

I think dog owners change things too quickly for our dogs if we think something isn't working.  Too often it's a change of tools or methods which keeps the dog confused.  Instead, stick to routine and let your dog understand the pattern you are trying to establish with your dog.  Then your communication becomes clearer.  Courtesy 93.9 WLVB

We had a spell of a couple of warm days here in Vermont and for us that means relief from the bitter cold. It also means that it's time to get the dogs out for a long walk or hike.  Plus, there have been so many puppies that have come through our doors that you will hear a tip for what I think is one of the best tools you can have for a puppy!
