 Arrow S5E23 Lian Yu Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 44:18

%CODE1% Arrow's 5th season wraps with what is probably the best episode CW has ever done. Lian Yu is not just a great season finale but it ends a 10 year arc for Oliver Queen's story (5 years of flashbacks & 5 years of present day story telling).  We say goodbye to a great character that's been a staple on the show while welcoming back Deathstroke. Everything lands this episode and returns Arrow to the top to claim its place among CW's DC shows.  We can't speak highly enough about this episode. Listen to our review as we break down what makes this episode so great. Oliver assembles a group of unlikely allies - Slade, Nyssa, Merlyn and Digger Harkness - to engage in an epic battle against Chase and his army.  The Flash S3E23 Finish Line Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 52:07

What the hell was that? Kriss and Dpalm are back to review, discuss and rip apart the season 3 finale of The Flash, Finish Line. Seriously, we’re almost at a loss for words at what we watched. Sure, this season has had some rough moments, but we still expected this finale to rise above all of that and give us at least a solid footing to defend the season. But it doesn’t. From the cop out with the Iris/HR switch to Barry trying to play nice with Savitar, none of it is executed well. We go over all the plot holes and issues and hope that Season 4 the show brings back it’s ‘A’ game. With nothing left to lose, Barry takes on Savitar in an epic conclusion.  Supergirl Season 2 Episode 22: Nevertheless She Persisted Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:01:48

Shanna & The Doctor are here to review the season 2 finale of Supergirl, "Nevertheless, She Persisted". Rhea and Kara face off for the fate of the Earth in a season finale that is entertaining and attempts to close loose ends, but winds up being mildly dissatisfying with the lack of inclusion of some characters and plot holes here and there.  That said, it was a much better season and season finale than last season, earning the season an overall grade of B. Supergirl challenges Rhea to battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Superman returns and Cat Grant offers Supergirl some sage advice.

 Arrow S5E22 "Missing" Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 32:46

As usual, Arrow is going out one a strong not. "Missing" finds a way to remove Oliver from his team but not by pushing them away. Adrian Chase has Oliver right where he wants him and is forcing Oliver to confront his demands and the type of man he wants to be. Add in the promise of bringing back some old familiar faces and Season 5 really is bringing the entire show back to to the beginning. Listen to our full review and discussion. Black Siren returns to give Chase help; Felicity plans a birthday party for Oliver; Lance is angry with Rene for missing the custody hearing about his daughter.

 Agents of Shield S4E22: "World's End" Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:10:00

The Agents of Shield review you've been waiting for! Kriss & Dpalm break down the season finale of Agents of Shield: "World's End". First of all, "World's End" is an action packed and emotional episode that sets up threads for next season. Credit should be given to Agents of Shield for being able  to do all of these things well in 42 minutes. And that doesn't even factor in bringing Ghostrider back. Robbie Reyes not only fit seamlessly into this episode but his inclusion also made sense. And there's plenty more to love about this episode. The emotional moments with Mack, Hope & Yo-Yo. Also this episode ties the end of the season to the beginning with Daisy telling Fitz not to make the mistakes she did. Throw in a world seeded by LMDs now & somehow Coulson ending up in space and this was a monster of a finale. Stream/Download to listen to our full review. With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world. Leave a 5 Star Review on iTunes and we'll read it on the next show!

The Flash S3E22 "Infantino Street" Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 56:58

Our latest review & discussion of The Flash is here. One more episode to go before the season finale of The Flash. While we've been critical of this season, Infantino Street, is a pretty good episode. Bringing back Wentworth Miller's Snart and pairing him up with Barry is always going to be a good for this show. Not only do Miller & Gustin have great chemistry together but their characters are perfect complements. Throw in King Shark and its a great time. Also, in a move that is sure to upset many, Iris's fate was always sealed. While it probably doesn't stick, we still have to give them credit for pulling this move. Dpalm gives a simple explanation as to how to undo this and defeat Savitar. Also is the show is losing more casual fans because of some of the crazy concepts (i.e. all the time travel)? Stream/Download to listen to our full review. Barry chooses to use any means necessary to save the woman he loves; The Flash turns to Captain Cold for help.  Arrow S5E21 Honor Thy Fathers | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 30:11

We've been singing the praises of this Season of Arrow for good reason, it's been really good. This episode, while good, does have some puzzling choices in it. While it's great to see Oliver back in the suit, we were expecting a bigger deal to be made about it. Despite that and other small issues, the theme they've been pushing with getting Oliver to let go of the paste and move forward has been  great one. Listen to our break down of this episode and let us know what you think. Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show!

Agents of Shield The Return Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 56:30

Week after Week we sing the praises of this show and this week is no different.  Agents of SHIELD The Return is a fantastic episode. There's really nothing left to say. They managed to bring Fitz back full circle with his feelings towards Ward from Season 1. They also manage to use a clever way of recapping the earlier storylines by having Coulson catch the real Agent May up on what she missed when she was replaced by a robot. We then got some great performances by Ian De Caestecker and Mallory Jansen this episode. We're not really sure of the mindset of Fitz until about halfway through the episode. And Jansen has done a great job all season as Aida and really shines playing a newly humanized Aida that is being flooded with new human emotions.  There's so much in this episode. Stream/Download the episode to get our full recap and discussion. Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show!

The Flash S3E21 Cause and Effect | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 44:48

This season of The Flash has been so dark and gloomy. From the beginning it just hasn't captured the fun and joy of the first two seasons. That's why this episode, Cause and Effect worked so well. Sure, the pacing issues of this season still exist and it does seem a little late to do an episode where the hero loses his memory. But like Iris said to Barry this episode, it was nice to see Barry without the weight of the world on his shoulders. It was nice to get that Barry that was still a bit naive and hopeful. So yes, the pacing issues are definitely a problem and the explanation of who Savitar is might go over the heads of the more casual fans but oh its own, this was a pretty good episode.  Agents of Shield S4E20 Farewell, Cruel World! | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 56:24

What makes Agents of SHIELD so great is how it knows just went to reveal certain things or set up certain scenes. This whole episode is full of moments like that. There were some real emotional moments between characters this episode, some that tie all the way back to the first season. This episode also serves as a good sendoff for some characters if we never see them again. We talk about: * Really great to see Tripp back and getting a proper sendoff * Simmons confronting Fitz's dad * Fitz coming back to the real world and realizing the consequences of his actions in the Framework * Radcliffe's arc * Mack's decision to stay & more Listen as we break down this episode.    Leave a 5 Star Review for us on the Super Tuesday feed and we'll read it on the next show!  Legends of Tomorrow S2E17 Aruba | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 40:00

Legends of Tomorrow ends its second season perfectly. The season finale really shows how much this show has grown since last season. It really became the Sara Lance Show. They also managed to bring everything together thematically as well as add some weight to this episode with some unexpected deaths. Check out our full review/discussion.  Legends of Tomorrow S2E16 Doomworld / Arrow S2E18 Disbanded | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:17:57

The penultimate episode of Legends of Tomorrow is one of the best they've done. No Hawks and bringing some of the CW's best villains together did wonders for this show. And this episode doesn't go as one would expect and so it has us on our toes for the finale. On Arrow, this is also one of their best episodes. This season has really brought together the entire series and we get to see how they're shaping Oliver's future and realization of becoming someone better. And finally we end with another talk about Marvel's sales being down on diverse comics and the stupid arguments people are trying to make that avoid the obvious.  Legends of Tomorrow S2E15 Fellowship of the Spear / Arrow S2E17 Kapiushon | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:01:06

Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow are really bringing the goods this season. We really like how Legends is pulling the pieces together how it embraces the type of show it is. On Arrow, we're still getting Season 2 vibes from this show and how its forcing Oliver to come to terms with who he is. And the new Justice League trailer comes out so you know we have some thoughts on this. Just remember, Kriss is the nice one when it comes to WB/DC.
