Arrow Season 6×15 Review – Goodbye Thea Queen | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 20:54

%CODE_ARROWS6X15% On it's own, this episode is a great send off for Willa Holland's Thea Queen. We get Roy & Thea suiting up (the former wearing a baseball cap that sets Dpalm off) and the return of Katrina Law's Nyssa al Ghul. This completes Thea's arc and also sets us up for a return in later seasons (along with maybe a return of one Malcolm Merlyn). But there were some small annoyances with other aspects of the episode: * Roy's hat (it's small but a hilarious thing) * Dragging out Diggle & Oliver talking about Oliver being back in the hood (ITS CAUSE YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH DIGGLE!) * The whole "is the Captain dirty or is she not?" thing. We already knew she was, stop treating the viewers like we're kids Overall though, we enjoyed the episode for what it was: A goodbye to a character with a great arc. Nyssa al Ghul returns to Star City to let Thea know that a group of renegade League of Assassins members are planning to attack her.  A League of their Own - Mailbag #6 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: Unknown

%CODE_MAILBAG6% It's the end of March (Is it just us or is 2018 flying by?) so that means, it's Mailbag Time. Kriss & Dpalm take listener emails, discuss topics in the news and go over their comic Pull List for the month. Normally, the episodes starts right off the top with emails, but this time, Kriss talks about the idiotic "ComicsGate" fools and the misconception that "The comic book industry isn't selling anymore".  Also, Kriss & Dpalm have some fun by casting their own Justice League movie and giving their high level pitch of what the film would be. You're not going to want to miss this episode. Topics: * Emails * Pick a X-Men team for a story set in space * Black Panther breaks records * Are we done with Marvel's Netflix shows? * News * Fox delays New Mutants & X-Men: Dark Phoenix * Captain Marvel starts production * Should Disney launch Secret Warriors on their streaming service? * Topic of the Show: * Who would we cast for a Justice League film? What team would we pick? What's the story? * Pull-List (What we were reading this month) Marvel and Stitcher Premium have released a 10-episode scripted series called Wolverine: The Long Night.  It’s Marvel’s first serious foray into podcasting.  Legends of Tomorrow Season 3×16 Review – There’s Something About Ava | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 31:36

%CODE_LOTS3E16% Legends of Tomorrow handles it's ensemble cast so well. This episode basically breaks out into three separate stores: Zari teaching Mick how to use his Totem, Sara & Ray going to find Ava and Wally, Nate & Amaya dealing with saving Amaya's grand daughter and getting her totem back. All three storylines are fairly separate from each other but they work so well. It gives a great mix of fun, serious and relevant to the overall story. Oh and Mick Rory is still a national treasure. Listen as Kriss & Dpalm discuss this latest episode, I Ava. Sara and Ray set out to find Ava when she disappears and Time Bureau agent Gary reveals a disturbing truth about her.  Agents of Shield Season 5×14 Review – Darth Fitz Returns | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 28:23

%CODE_AOSS5E14% Didn't see that coming. Five season in and Agents of Shield is still keeping us on our toes. I mean sure we knew that Fitz was struggling to come to terms with the darkness inside of him but to see him finally give in? Man...it kinda hurts. But it also makes sense when we think of all the stress and hardships that Fitz has been through. But will Daisy and Mack forgive him? That remains to be seen. Oh and Coulson gets even more reckless and goes off with General Hale and somehow that's not the biggest story here.  Kriss and Dpalm break down this excellent episode that might be one of the best of the series. Fitz and Simmons are faced with one of their greatest fears as they search for a way to seal the rift.  Black Lightning Season 1×09 Review We Got Nothing… | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:27:44

%CODE_BLS1X9% In this episode Jennifer confronts her family for their lies of omission (Yes Lynne, omitting something is still a form of lying), Lynne goes full Black mom on her when she tries to catch an attitude, and Gambi runs a parallel investigation to Jefferson and Anissa.  Henderson finally gets out of his feelings and does some decent detective work (well...decent for him anyway). This is an episode that was a bit of a drag for us.  The family dynamic is off for some reason compared to the beginning of the season.  Their angst doesn't feel earnest and we are found ourselves viewing the arguments/discussions as forced and written for television instead of organic the way they were at the beginning of the season.   Find us on Twitter: @TheMTRNetwork @shittybonmots @TheDrIsIn2015 @pfunk1130

Legends of Tomorrow Season 3×15 Review – Necromancing the Stone | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 35:55

%CODE_LOTS3E15% Legends of Tomorrow continues to be the best show in the Arrowverse. This episode brings back Matt Ryan's Constantine (who is rumored to be a show regular next season) and does a great job of mixing seriousness with humor. We discuss what works really well this episode and why this show handles its large cast so much better than other shows. When Mallus' power over Sara resurfaces, she unwittingly becomes the bearer of one of the Totems. Rory must conquer his dark side in order to wield his own Totem power to help save the crew. Meanwhile, Agent Sharpe notices that something is wrong and recruits someone unorthodox to help.  Agents of Shield Season 5×13 Review Principia – Mack Hammer Time | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 32:00

%CODE_AOSS5E13% Kriss & Dpalm review this week's episode of Agents of SHIELD, Principia. The last two episodes have made us want to go back and watch the previous seasons, particularly Season 3. We had to go back and remind ourselves just what happened with Werner von Strucker in that third season because he's been brought in Season 5. This is all adding fuel to the fire of our Franklin Hall (Graviton) theory. It also makes us wonder who else might show up. What if Daisy never gets her powers back but everyone just thinks she does? Could we get Eden? What is General Hale really up to and is she Leviathan? So many questions and we still have a lot of episodes to give us answers. Oh and Deke realizing Fitz & Simmons are his grandparents is hilarious. The team goes in search of Gravitonium in order to save the world.  Black Lightning Season 1×08 Review Gambi Tears | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 1:37:08

%CODE_LIGHTNINGS1E8% This week we learn that Freeland is basically what happens when the government doesn't get checked about the Tuskegee Experiments.  Jefferson and Gambi break up, Anissa trains and saves her father, and Jennifer's powers finally manifest in the lamest way imaginable. Gambi tells a believable story, but we aren't sure if it is true or revisionist history.  Also, Latavius comes back and gives us the refresh to the series we needed with his conversations with LaWanda and the hilarious reactions of the people around him to those conversations.   We also discuss the DCEU's most recent announcement...although we don't hedge bets on how long that news will be accurate cause...well, it IS the DCEU (where are we with that Flash movie again?)
