Legends of Tomorrow Season 3×18 Review – In Beebo We Trust | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 30:01

http://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/6473228 You know why we're here. Legends of Tomorrow goes out with a bang with a ridiculous (but very enjoyable) season finale. This show gets it. Its found a way to perfectly balance serious concepts and themes but also doesn't forget to have fun. This episode also brings back a lot of elements from earlier in the season, completes Damien Darhk's arc with him finally doing something selfless (ala Malcolm Merlyn) and ends with a giant Beebo fighting a giant demon. This show is awesome. Rip is forced to improvise when the Legends' plan to vanquish Mallus with the totems doesn't work. Please take our Audience survey. It takes 5-10 minutes, is completely anonymous and will help us deliver a better show! http://survey.podtrac.com/start-survey.aspx?pubid=Hn8mdnRAKa8e&ver=standard Marvel and Stitcher Premium have released a 10-episode scripted series called Wolverine: The Long Night.  It’s Marvel’s first serious foray into podcasting.  The Flash Season 4×17 Null And Annoyed Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 37:08

http://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/6473216 The Flash returns from break with an episode that probably didn't please a lot of fans. Ralph's jokes, even with the explanation at the end, probably just didn't land for a lot of people. After discussing it, we think the problem comes from two places: * A weird order for some of the character growth moments throughout this season. When you think about it, the two episodes before barely showed us Ralph and so to come back to Ralph cracking jokes and being out in the field felt really weird * The breaks are killing this show. The show isn't written with the breaks in mind and so the momentum from previous episodes gets abruptly halted and it's jarring. When you focus on just this episode on its own, this episode isn't that bad. Devoe finally becomes truly scary with the repeated drugging of Marlize and erasing her memory. The stuff with Breacher was just one hour long erectile dysfunction joke. And even the Ralph stuff has an explanation. It's the breaks though. The breaks are killing the flow of this show. Listen to get our full discussion. Barry and Ralph try to find the remaining bus metas before DeVoe gets them. However, Ralph's attitude frustrates Barry and they clash over what it means to be a hero. Meanwhile, Breacher returns to ask Cisco for a favor. Please take our Audience survey.  Agents of Shield Season 5x16 Inside Voices Review | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: Unknown

*I read the wrong episode number/title/synopsis at the beginning of this episode. I read the one for 15 not 16* Here's the scary thing about Agents of SHIELD right now: Since the team has come back into the present, despite everything that's happened, the end of the world is still on track here. Jemma and Elena might think they're invincible but the truth is, no one on the team has ever really sat down and talked about everything they know about the future. To be fair, there's been a lot going on and they've been going from one fire to another. But at some point, they need to brain dump everything they know. Because right now this rogue team, plus Daisy bringing Robin into the fold, is just keeping the clock ticking down for the end of the world. Also, poor young Strucker is thinking with the wrong body part when it comes to Ruby, who seems to be a little too enthusiastic about being the "Destroyer of Worlds".  http://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/6457047 Coulson is forced to team up with unlikely allies to save the world, while his team try to track him down and rescue him.  Arrow Review Season 6×17 Review – Diggle Was Wrong | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: Unknown

Let's get this out of the way: This episode was bullshit because the logic behind Diggle being mad at Oliver is bullshit. But it was entertaining watching Diggle dig himself into a hole and then watch Oliver smack him into it (along with his dead brother). While we get what the show is trying to do, it hasn't set it up very well because...well...Oliver's right. And not only is he right but the new Oliver has been doing the right thing for 2 years now while Diggle, Felicity and everyone else messes up. And so what should be an emotionally powerful moment comes off as Diggle whining like a 2 year old. Oh and Kriss apologizes for ever backing Dinah. She's the worst.  %CODE_ARROWS6X17% Oliver and Diggle face their biggest challenge yet; Curtis is disappointed to find out his new boyfriend has a firm anti-vigilante stance.  Legends of Tomorrow Season 3×17 Damien Darhk Was Right | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 40:54

Damien Darhk was right. Not even trying to be all "villain agenda" here but he probably ended up saving the lives of the Legends by betraying them. They were going to lose spectacularly. Neal McDonough has always been great as Darhk but he's been really great this season. The mini-speech he gives Sara about the darkness inside of both of them and love was great. Everyone knew that Darhk was going to betray the team but even the reason why he does it this time shows growth for the character.  This was another excellent episode. We start off with Grodd going after a young Barry Obama then the focus shifts to Amaya trying to save her village (and breaking time, thus freeing Mallus). And then there's the whole meta John Noble playing John Noble being asked to read a script to sound like a character...voiced by John Noble. Legends of Tomorrow is great. The Legends must fix two anachronisms at the same time to keep Mallus at bay and form an uneasy alliance with one of their enemies. %CODE_LOTS3E17% Marvel and Stitcher Premium have released a 10-episode scripted series called Wolverine: The Long Night.  It’s Marvel’s first serious foray into podcasting.  Agents of Shield Season 5×15 Review Hydra Hogwarts | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 33:07

%CODE_AOSS5E15% Hail...excuse me...Hale...Hydra How do you follow up an incredible Fitz episode which reveals the dark side of Fitz? With Hydra Hogwarts of course. We get the backstory on General Hale and it ties everything together. We find out how Hydra trained young kids to grow up to infiltrate not only SHIELD but all other parts of government. We find out the terrible choice Hale was given (I mean its still Hydra) and why she wants Coulson to help her join Hydra and SHIELD. We even get to find out what happened to Talbot (damn it, they made me start to care about him). And this is all before we get Daisy confronting Fitz and Fitz not apologizing for a damn thing (and dropping his own heat). THIS SHOW IS SO DAMN GOOD! Coulson uncovers General Hale's real agenda and it could be the end of the world if S.H.I.E.L.D. can't stop her.  Arrow Season 6×15 Review – Goodbye Thea Queen | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 20:54

%CODE_ARROWS6X15% On it's own, this episode is a great send off for Willa Holland's Thea Queen. We get Roy & Thea suiting up (the former wearing a baseball cap that sets Dpalm off) and the return of Katrina Law's Nyssa al Ghul. This completes Thea's arc and also sets us up for a return in later seasons (along with maybe a return of one Malcolm Merlyn). But there were some small annoyances with other aspects of the episode: * Roy's hat (it's small but a hilarious thing) * Dragging out Diggle & Oliver talking about Oliver being back in the hood (ITS CAUSE YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH DIGGLE!) * The whole "is the Captain dirty or is she not?" thing. We already knew she was, stop treating the viewers like we're kids Overall though, we enjoyed the episode for what it was: A goodbye to a character with a great arc. Nyssa al Ghul returns to Star City to let Thea know that a group of renegade League of Assassins members are planning to attack her.
