This week in our first show of the new year, Jay and Craft will be discussing how do you open your heart for love again. We have all experienced heartbreak in some way or form. Whether it be in a relationship, a loss of a loved one or even a sports team that lets you down when they are winning 28-3 the championship game. Heartbreak is real and it can keep you from carrying on and being able to show the love you are capable of showing. It is a must for true happiness to find healing in the heart. Do not let fear you hold back in love or life. You can move safely but not fearful. Think about how you overcame a heartbreak. Did you learn a lesson or have some PTSD that needed some support? We are at the end of the year and 2019 has been an interesting year for some and just another one for others. What can we take into 2020 in order to make it the “The Best Year Ever”? Depends on who you ask but that’s more than obvious. Has the reason for break ups differ amongst generations? If you go by decades, the surface reasons have changed but the core reasons are the same. On the surface, may lye on what decade you pop up in. Going back 100 years or so, everything was a bit more family centered and marriage was more of a business tool than a love laten relationship. Break-ups were much rarer and divorce in a religiously homogeneous society was frowned upon. Dating was much of dream during those time. As you move on throughout time love had been at the center of relationships and marriage. Things like compatibility,, family history, bad habits, status, appearance, money and more come into play when relationships are pursued and can also cause a demise.

When we go deeper into the fold, we can see that we as people are starting to get obsessed with material things and companies are looking to hold that over our collective heads. In some cases, these things fracture relationships, cause violence and even end life. Commercialization in a capitalist society is a commodity and the more targeted this advertising becomes to every facet of our life, the more urgency seems to be real to have something that probably don’t need or does more harm than good.

Drawing a Line: Dividing and Defining The Financial Responsibilities of Relationships (Bar Talk With Jay 11/14/2019)Going Dutch can be taboo in the dating discussion. Philosophies may differ from person to person but it is far less complicated in a casual dating situation. On the other hand when it comes to being in a relationship, cohabitating, and we are talking about splitting these bills, you are looking at decisions that directly affect your livelihood. Income level does influence the way we navigate this topic. Customarily the man in the relationship is looked to be the one to take care of the bills and the woman helps where she can. In 2019 with high earners coming from both ends of the spectrum, you may find that the woman may be a better choice to do the financial lifting. Also in the current society, inflation and development have affected everything from food to property value. In some cases, it really takes two to make things go. If we have the same goals financially, maybe decide to pool resources, with everything being equal where should the divide of financial responsibility come? How much trust is needed in order to feel like you are financially taken care of? However you need to accomplish your financial goals shouldn’t matter but deep down inside, does it?
