Judy is one of the most fascinating ladies ive ever met. She's honestly been there and done that. She's a avid hunter, Dog person, NAVHDA member and VC breeder.

We have been talking about doing it since I heard about it this summer and its finally time to get the word out. When I was told that it was Illegal to track a wounded big game animal with a dog as means of trying to recover that game animal I was floored.. couldn't believe it was true.. It is. So We sat down with some wonderful folks that are trying to change that law. We also discuss some common questions and problems that most or all hunters with dogs will encounter in the field.

After the second day of chasing the Ruffed Grouse in the UP and some crazy things happening in a wild place we sat down to tell our tales.

Im not sure what Nick did in the past to deserve all this bad luck but the curse sure seems real! We chat about his dogs, deer hunting, the rare TN ruffed grouse and other things.

Man oh man! October, Its been one hell of a ride! October 2018 is coming to a close....now the real season starts! I talk about Pheasant hunting tactics in cattails, Weather patterns, waterfowl migration, upcoming Michigan Ruffed Grouse and fishing trip, and November trapping.

Two of the most fun weeks of my life had to come to an end at sometime. Its been an epic October and I sure hope that we can get a group rate at the Betty Ford Clinic. We sat down the last night they were both here to tell some stories from 2018 Pheasant camp.

I was lucky enough to spend a few days with Craig Jones and Travis Frank to record a tv show. After the second day he was nice enough to take an hour or so out of his evening to inform us on the TV business and producing in my opinion the best bird hunting show on TV

We have been trying to get this episode recorded for some time but between Brett's busy schedule and mine time kind of got away from us. We spend a good chunk of time chatting about Sage Grouse since they fascinate me, as well as touching on Huns, Sharptails, and Pheasants all in region 6 (north central to north eastern MT). We will chat again hopefully next summer and get a bird report for you folks so you can go experience some of Montana bird hunting.

Ive been looking forward to getting Ben on a podcast since I started talking to him about getting a dog from around this time last year. Ben is a wealth of knowledge on all hunting dogs and training and produces some of the finest Setters you will find anywhere. Take a listen! Lots of good info
