You might "think" you are married to your Life Partner, but you and your "so called" Life Partner are not compatible "business partners".  Maybe you started off as "compatiable lovers", but your relationship lacks a "Relationship Business Plan" and that plan needs to include a "Relationship Mission Statement" and Relationship Vision Statement". Have you discussed "HOW LONG" will your relationship last ? Will is last 3 months, 3 years, 300 years, or 3,000 years ?

Episode #8 Networking,  A Million Dollar Worth of Possibilities   Network is King The power of your network sets the tone for your mark in the music industry. You are considered a nobody until you are a somebody…… Its not who you know…but who knows you….. If I meet 2 people 5 times a week that’s  480 people in a years time that could potential do something for the movement. ·      Take a brief moment to write your contacts down…. ·      Organize them by who you really know…who you think you know…and who you really don’t know….. ·      Focus on the people you really don’t know…. ·      Social media is great for networking initially breaking the ice….but here are some strategic tips for networking….. ·      Meeting someone in person trumps all other connections. Nothing compares to being able to look someone in the eye when you’re talking to them. ·      The next best thing to meeting someone in person is being introduced to /and recommended by a mutual friend or business associate. ·      Meeting someone without following up is no better than not meeting them at all! 1.    Put yourself in the way of opportunity!             You have to be in the mix of where the music industry people are spending their time. For example the SE 360 Music Festival had all types of individuals in the room from all over the nation. Standard music officials.   2.    Give before you receive. Think about what you can do for another person instead of what that person can do for you. When you provide value for another person they are more app to help you in your endeavors.   3.    Always carry business cards. The business card is so essential. You should ask others for their business card. Collect them, organize them, and utilize them for business purposes.   4.     Be The person you say you are… Its nothing worst than frauds posing to be somebody they are not in this game. Today on "It's My House" we shall do a study of Harriet Tubman who was a Grand Masteer "Social Networker" and "Social Capitalist". Mrs. Tubman did not have access to a cell phone, any type of computer, and she had no internet connection...........however she did more "social networking" and leveraged more "social capital" than the average person who walks the earth today. We shall take a look at the methods that she used for the "Underground Railroad", which was a "social network" for slaves who wanted to live freedom and start their businesses. Today on "It's My House" we shall conduct a "Sojourner Truth Law Clinic".  It is written that Sojourner Truth was illiterate in the sense of reading and writting, but she was bi-lingual. Her first language was Dutch......she later learned how to speak English. Ms. Truth was an author, publisher, singer, and was the first black woman in the United States to win a court case against a white man. As a matter of fact she was an "Legal Advocate" who helped pave the way for others. One of those legal battles was the legal right to ride of StreetCars in Washington, D.C.
