On "It's My House" today we shall discuss various ways that people can "protest". First things first there are five basic distinctions of protesting: Destructive Protesting = Rioting, looting, violence, any unlawful acts. (No End Game in place) Reactive Protesting = Marching, picketing, boycotting, and shake downs. (No End Game in place) Proactive Protesting = Starting businesses, founding townships, founding schools, owning media outlets, going to school, learning a new skill set,  fundraising, creating Family Wealth and Royalty Income etc. Civic Protesting = Creating Community Assets, organizing "Think Tanks", Political Action Committees, Lobbying, sponsoring Block Parties, sponsoring local/neighborhood events, sponsoring sports teams, prayer breakfast, happy hours, etc.  Joseph Kennedy/President Obama:  Sooner or later everybody does business with everybody.  Build Social Capital outside of your comfort zone.

Today on "It's My House" we shall discuss "Supremacy Literacy", Supremacy Distinctions, & Solutions". Many people use the terms "white supremacy" and "black supremacy" with much confidence.........however much of the time these terms are used out of context and even the person who uses these terms do not have a clear understand of these terms, thus in this podcast will will attempt to clear things up. When listening to this podcast we shall like you to keep the following in mind: As A Person Thinks....So Are They. (Proverbs 23:7)It's your secret thoughts of yourself that determine who U are.

Our queston of the day is: Is Ignorance The Problem Or White Supremacy ? Today on "It's My House" we have a very special (law study group).........the Nat Turner 2015 vs Underground Railroad Law Clinic.   Nat Turner was a slave who started a riot, however it was not well planned with an "end game" in mind. It cost him his life as well as the lives of many others. Mr. Turner was basically LAW ILLITERATE.  Living during the same time frame..........there where other slaves who found ways to become free by becoming LAW LITERATE and when they "applied" their knoweldge the found freedom. Many people (slaves and former slaves) became "law literate" or "legally aware" via the Underground Railroad. Rioting is a REACTIVE way to protest.  Becoming Law Literate is a PROACTIVE way to protest. Benjamin "Paps" Singleton was a former slave who become "law literate" and became a land baron. Some of the HBCU's Historically Black Colleges and Universities protested by establishing schools and universities. 

Recently there  has been a number of African American men who have been killed or "alledgely" killed by the local Police. Many think that there was no just cause for the killing...........many thing these men (were doing nothing) wrong.  However in many of these cases these men did not observe the local "Failure To Obey" Laws that are ON THE BOOKS !. Failure to obey a police orders is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE. Not following the (in most cases) the SIMPLE request of the Police can end up in a very negative result. If you want a very short meeting with the local Police and be on your way quick, fast, and in a hurry AFTER you have completed your business with the police then this podcast is for you. We shall use the FIRAC method to analze some legal cases as a law study aid. plus give U the four componant pointsof a crime.  FIRAC is a LEGAL WRITING tool.    

Today on "It's My House" we shall take a look at the "root cause" of much of the rioting in urban cities in the United States Of America. The primary demographic that is seen in various pictures and news clippings are young black men. Many of these men and people in their community say that racism and white supremacy is to blame. However we shall take a look at some statistics take a look at the bigger picture. Examples: There are only (6) HBCU Law Schools in the United States.There are (30) teams in the NBA.32 teams in the NFL31 teams in MLBThere are 177,000 houses of worship (give or take) in the USA.17,000 - 20,000 Afican American houses of worship in the USAThe Southern Baptish Convention has a membership of over 16,000,000 people.  Black churches have taken in more than $420,000,000,000.00 in tithes and offerings in the last 35 years. That averages out to $12,000,000,000.00 per year ! Orlando, Florida has a black population of over 65,000 people. Do the math..........the root cause of the problem is Law Illiteracy and a over involvement in ENTERTAINMENT.

Episode #10 Are You a Brand Or an Artist? Identifying the answer to this question early in your career can create positive financial situations for your business adventures with lucrative results.   The object is to develop multiples streams of income under one brand. To sell a song is one thing, but suppose you had something to accompany that song to sell on the side optimizing the amount of items a fan can buy. Am I preaching right now? Now im going to tell you a story. I seen a lot of people doing it after I done it and I know why, the Money. I had 15 cds on a table and 10 shirts with my name on them on the table. I done a show and they only paid me 10 bucks to do the show. I did the show because I was hungry and dying to be in the middle of another type fan base.  I rocked the show and the crowd loved me. I had my merchandise table set up and I sold 15 shirts and on 3 cds…. I made 150 + 15. That was major epiphany in my mind. The people went bananas over something else other than the music.  This was a major push for understand my brand as a whole versus just hoping I can sell a song.  Your brand is your identity, every extension of yourself, from everything you do. Im not going to go into detail because I have a whole segment on brand details but I have get this in early because of it’s importance to artist development and mentality shaping.   Lets talk about 5 types of revenue streams. 1 Music Mechanical Sales 2.Events Hosting 3. Live Performances 4.Publishing 5. Merchandising Listen to this statement, If the people will do it because you do it, then you can earn revenue from it….. ·      For example,  if your name is strong, your brand is good money, host a party, you can get paid. The promoter is making money from the event. The people are coming because your name is on the flyer. Revenue Stream ·      If it’s something that you do that requires a certain item, find a generic item online and slap your brand on it. Use the item with your brand on it in the next video. The people will buy it from you just because it’s cool….Revenue Stream ·      When your name get hot, a song playing on the radio, the people start recognizing your music, it’s time to get paid for live performances….Revenue Stream ·      Publishing is a sensitive topic but it’s a revenue stream to never over look and never give the rights away. Every song you write and publish becomes identify in your music society. BMI, ASCAP, or SESAC…which ever you prefer… I will talk in more detail about publishing but for now understand it’s big money….. Lets take drake for example….Each time his song is played on the radio, used in a commercial, played in a club, used in a movie….he gets paid for it….. I feel like I’m preaching….do you want me to go on…or do you want me to stop…I think I will stop here…..that’s all for this episode….we on fire right now…..the money…make money from your music….develop your business sense and utilize every revenue stream you can from your brand…..at this point we want to shape your mentality.
