In the third episode of the GMDP, we finally figure out Chase's mic. A little too much. Now he's louder than everyone. We assume that makes up for Episode 1. On this episode, we talk a little about hockey, a little about improv, and a whole lot about pork.

In this episode of the Road to Nashville, I'm joined by former Auburn hockey player and Preds prospect writer for On the Forecheck, Bryant Fair. We talk Eeli Tolvanen, Preds rookie camp and training camp, the "Boston Boys" and answer some of your questions. My co-host Cutler Klein unfortunately had to miss this episode due to the Vanderbilt/Alabama game. However, fear not - he will be back on our next episode!

The guys took in the Thursday evening game against the Panthers and have their thoughts on the game, seeing the home jerseys in person, the players jockeying for a spot, and the sudden increase of penalties across the league. It's our first episode of the 2017/18 season! We kick it off discussing Predators training camp including what to do with Samuel Girard, Preds leadership and more. Next, former Preds defenseman and new radio color commentator Hal Gill joined us to talk about his new role with the org. Gill gave us his views on Girard, how Nashville has changed and his thoughts on how NHL defenseman have changed over the years. (13:30) Andrew Berkshire, a contributor to Sportsnet, RDS, Sporting News and more chatted with us on his top 23 NHL centers list, what to expect from Nashville this season, how competitive the Golden Knights will be this season and how many teams will have to deal with beginning of season injuries. Coast to Coast is often times a phrase used in hockey when a player goes from one end of the ice all the way to the other end of the ice in spectacular fashion. Hosted by Matt Best, the Coast to Coast podcast does exactly that (maybe sometimes not so spectacularly). Joined by Christian Marin and Nick Andrade, the trio dive deep into the hockey world and discuss the hot topics of today's NHL while having a few laughs along the way. Calling Canada their home, the three gentlemen went to school and work together so they might as well complete the trifecta and do a podcast together. Episode 1 of the Coast to Coast podcast really exemplifies the name. The gang first dives into the latest news where politics and the sports world collide before moving onto topics like the Vegas Golden Knights, early division winners, head shaving bets, Adam Sandler and even Neapolitan ice cream.

On this episode of Southern Hostility, Cameron's life is in shambles, after needing multiple dental procedures & getting rear ended in a fast food drive thru. We discuss openings on the roster that provide an entry point for young, exciting players. We also get into why Cameron shouldn't have watched "IT" and why Justin won't.

In the newest episode of the GMDP, we do not know that Jack Dougherty played in the AHL last year, forget Yannick Weber exists, forget Jack Skille's name, and Patten rages against Brandon Yip for no reason. Also we talk about trash cans on the sideline and Panera. In other words, it's basically season two of S-town. Notes from the show: - This was recorded on Saturday, September 9, so some references may be to things that happened a week ago. Specifically, FAU actually won a game and Tennessee football has much bigger issues than a trash can. -Hopefully Chase's mic is better this week. Preseason is almost here! This means training camp and rookie camp! The guys talk Preds rookies, the new NHL rule changes the league implemented, Ryan Ellis's injury and potential D pairings, and have some fun with their Top 5 for the week talking about NHL team logos. While the country was focused on the Great American Eclipse, the NHL was busy releasing their Top 20 Centers list for the year. As always the guys decided to throw the list out the window and make it their Top 5 list for the week.
