It was a busy day today. I didn't learn all that much. The most interesting thing is that the Trump administration is standing by the Obama wiretap accusations and says shortly there'll be new information coming out.
We didn't have time to get to this new Fox News poll that I have some numbers for-let's go over it because they're pretty interesting.
One of the few times in history I have watched MSNBC, and it was last night because of the tax return deal. I did it professionally, not out of any other curiosity, because they were hyping it and I had to see what the news value was.
Now the conservatives, as we spoke to Karl Rove about, better wise up a little bit because they're living in a world where not everybody is right wing. If you're going to sabotage a healthcare system, your end product had better be better.
The green is going to be covered by white as the big nor'easter/blizzard thing.... if you have never been to New York, it's an overcrowded, crazy place of sixteen million people.
So President Trump has been pretty quiet this week. Everybody's waiting for the next tweet, and all we have is that the new healthcare proposals are going to be good for the nation. Let's hope that's true.
We're going to continue our reporting on this leak business and the hacking because I think it is the most serious issue facing the country today.
Do I have confidence in the senate and the house investigative committees? No. But we'll push them, push them, push them. Perhaps we'll get to the bottom of it.
Saying that he was tapped by Barack Obama in Trump Tower, I don't think I would have recommended that.
He definitely should recuse himself because you just can't have any doubt on an investigation that's this important.
He came across as credible, a credible commander-in-chief. I think the White House is very happy with the whole deal, and the Democratic Party looked weak and petulant.
I'm not expecting any new revelations tonight in the president's speech-you're listening to this probably after the speech, I'm recording it before-other than the fact that he's bending a little bit in the immigration reform.
State of the Union tomorrow. I don't think we're going to hear much new, it'll be maybe a few more specifics on the demise of Obamacare...
So we have a pretty silent week-have you noticed that-from President Trump. Not a lot of provocative tweets, not a lot of challenges, so it looks like the president is calming down a little bit as far as the direct incitement of controversy.
This illegal alien stuff, this is going to peak now for the next month or so as the left sees itself losing.
