On the political front, there's going to be a lull in the action now for about two months. It'll start to heat up in early July before the conventions. But it's going to be back and forth, Clinton-Trump.
There's a maybe one in twenty chance that it's an accident, but I'd say probably terrorism. Knowing the area, knowing that Egypt is a target, coming out of Paris, although the Parisians have a pretty good security system.
But both candidates obviously are very unique in their appeal and you're seeing that. But Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump, this race is going to be an amazing experience to watch because it's going to get nasty and it's going to ebb and flow.
But this small ball, Trump is mean, or Hillary's this, or you know, I'm not going to do the small ball stuff. We pass on that stuff almost every day.
This Chicago thing bothers me. I know it doesn't bother a lot of people but it bothers me. I think that if I were the mayor of that city I would have solved that problem. And if I can do it, Rahm Emmanuel and the other pinheads can do it. But they don't care to do it.
Donald Trump meeting with the Republican leadership-you really don't know; you just don't know what's going on there. But I assume, knowing Mr. Trump, that he's conciliatory when he goes in. But I don't think that the party is going to be that enthused at the convention.
The liberal media must be going crazy because they can't really help her. Donald Trump is kind of numb and inured to all of these charges that they're going to throw at him. People know him and they're accepting, some of them, of his life.
In the interview with Donald Trump tonight you may have noticed that I tried to pin him down and he's a guy that if he's not going to tell you he's not going to tell you, like the VP stuff. But it's my job to try.
You've got Hillary Clinton, who opens up the fence by saying that Trump is anti-woman. Well, that just gives Trump the pathway to go in and just take her apart over the scandals, the extra marital stuff.
Obama took some shots at Trump, that was pretty amusing today. But what do you expect?
I didn't do this Hillary Clinton hacking story with this Romanian guy. It was broken on Fox News and the reason I didn't do it was because we can't confirm this guy. He could say anything.
Trump won fair and square. He just beat 'em and there's nothing you can say. It's like a sporting event. He won and it was a huge upset. I didn't think and nobody else thought that he would do it when he announced his campaign. But he won.
As far as the election in Indiana, I cannot call it. It's not like New York where we all knew Trump was going to win, and the other northeastern states. This is a little murkier.
Now on the political front, there was an article today in the New York Times saying that Barack Obama is going to devote the rest of his presidency pretty much to his legacy. Ok, I mean, historians will look back on these eight years with a mediocre eye.
I don't root for anybody. I get a lot of mail about I'm favoring Donald Trump, but if you look, and you can because it's all posted, the series of interviews I've done with him are far and away the toughest interviews that's been done with Donald Trump.
