Corporate Wellness Programs & Suicide PTSD Discussion | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 55:20

My opening guest was Dr. Roger Sahoury, Wellness Expert and Chiropractor and Owner of Above and Beyond Holistic Wellness Center based in New Jersey. Dr. Sahoury is a world renowned speaker in the area of health and wellness and was on the line today to discuss corporate wellness programs. Dr. Sahoury is also an educator of wellness care for major corporations including but not limited to Verizon, AT&T, and Whole Foods, as well as professional athletic teams such as NY Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, & The New England Patriots. Dr. Sahoury talked about the value of having a corporate wellness program and how he has developed an app that helps business owners take much of the stress and management out of the process. The app guides employees throughout the day when to get up, stretch and do other wellness activities and reports to the HR department. The idea is to enhance workplace productivity and lower insurance costs through improved wellness and also just make the workplace more fun. Jamie spoke of his years in the fertilizer industry where they had an onsite fitness center and the value he gained from that. It’s important to understand though that corporate wellness programs come in all shapes and sizes and do not have to involve a full blown fitness center. Unique applications and processes can make your workforce happier and healthier such as the app discussed by Dr. Sahoury on the program. For more information, visit www.drsahoury.com! Lynne Santiago, PhD and Licensed Mental Health Counselor joined the program at 7:30 to talk about her work as a psychotherapist with Veterans in preventing suicide and dealing with PTSD. Lynne was hired by the James A Haley VA Hospital in 2009 to develop and improve their suicide prevention program and took the practice private so that she could be more resourceful in the development. Lynne talks about some of the challenges she faces in dealing with Veterans with PTSD and some of the risk factors to be aware of when dealing with Veterans. Oftentimes, Veterans do not know they are suffering from PTSD also and that their loved ones need to be in tune with the warning signs of which Dr. Santiago elaborates on some in this segment. Lynne is also a Sex Therapist and couples counselor and we cover that on the second segment. She utilizes a relationship/communication bootcamp which is a 5 day program to help couples find their love again and she is in the final stages of releasing her book “Conscious Parting” which will be available in Amazon and storefronts soon. Dr. Santiago’s office is located at 609 S Himes Ave in Tampa and she can be reached at 877-570-3632 for those in need of assistance. Visit her online at www.lynnesantiagolmhc.com!

Differentiation - The Key To Success | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 53:06

Luke Chichetto, Founder of Mobility Rx Fitness and Sports Therapist, joined us at 8am on #ThatBusinessShow. Luke brings a lifetime of fitness to the table starting at age 7 lifting weights with his brother. He went on to a successful college career in Football and worked with many sports organizations including the Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also competed with the USA Florida Olympic Power Lifting Team. Through this, he saw a niche market to work with patients suffering from “mobility” issues hence the name of his business. Patients with restricted movements due to back pain, shoulder pain and more can benefit from his knowledge and procedures. Luke also shares some great tips on fitness including the benefits and risks of squats and dispels the myth that a child should not begin to weight train at a young age due to the risk of hindering development. Luke has also developed an app as part of his business that essentially replicates himself. Since a trainer is only 1 person, his app allows people to train virtually using his techniques and plan at a monthly cost when you join his program. This is another excellent way he works to differentiate himself from the competition. Located at 3350 Ulmerton Rd in Clearwater, he is your resource if you suffer from back pain or other issues restricting your mobility. Dr. Daoud is a true lover of the field of dentistry as evidenced by attending Dental School twice, once in England and then again in the United States since the degree did not carry meet United States regulations for Dentists. He has been in business over 15 years and is the preferred lender of The Griffin Group which is headed up by Christina Griffin. Christina is also a Realtor with Coldwell Banker and long-time associate of Jamie. Together they have sold well over 3000 properties and Christina ranked #52 this year on the Real Trends Wall Street Journal List for Top Realtors in the Country for team units sold. She has also opened up a new business line unrelated to Real Estate selling Lula Roe clothing. She discusses this on the program and the brand is just over a year old but is the fastest growing direct sales company in the United States. She was fortunate to be selected to be a distributor due to fierce demand from others wanting to be part of this growing trend. She found the product during her battle with Cancer and she states the comfort is unmatched with anything else she has ever worn. She explains that the prints are only produced in limited numbers and when you order a product, you are not sure which prints you may get. Jokingly, it’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.  Our Youngest Entrepreneur Featured - Age 9! | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 52:29

Starting off the program today was returning guest and my youngest entrepreneur to be featured on the program, Madison Harrison.  Madison is a 9 year old aspiring photographer and Owner of Photos With Madison where she specializes in photography for her friends and their dolls.  Her love of photography began at age 3 when she received a camera as a present and she launched an official business at age 7, joking that she needed space to be credible and asked a friend if she could rent a space from her for $2.00/hour.  From there, she developed it into her niche but also takes time to handle other events including 3 weddings and some private events.  She was joined in studio by Andrea Harrison, her mother and also fellow entrepreneur with Tantalizing Tablescapes and Décor.  Andrea shares with us the love and passion she has for her daughter and how inspirational she is to her at such a young age in the field of entrepreneurism.  Last year Madison was featured as a guest on the program and was on a mission to photograph the President and was using a hashtag campaign #helpmadisonmeetpotus.  It was from that campaign that The United State of Women, a White House initiative, hosted by Michelle Obama & Oprah Winfrey, saw her# helpmadisonmeetpotus campaign and sent her a private message on Twitter inviting her to apply for their media credentials.    Her next mission is to photograph the Oscars and is now using the hashtag #helpmadisonphotographtheoscars – any connections or sharing of the hashtag will be greatly appreciated by Madison and #ThatBusinessShow.  Please take a moment and help Madison by liking her Facebook page found here https://www.facebook.com/photoswithmadison/ where you can also view her photos of the President and First Lady among others and visit her online at www.photoswithmadison.com and consider her to help you capture the youth and innocence of your children by calling 813-625-5502! My next guest on the program was Marcus Gibbs, Marketing Director of Donation Station.  Donation Station is a cause marketing company with a National reach and works to pair non-profits with for-profits to enhance awareness and donations for the non-profit and to increase the bottom line of the for-profit by utilizing the concepts of cause marketing.  In short, the idea for the for profit company is that consumers want to do business companies that give back to the community.  By marketing their products using 1 of 6 different cause marketing techniques, companies can see returns of 15 to 20 percent on their investment if executed properly.  An example of causing marketing would be a company may market that by buying a product will result in 10% of the sale going to Charity XYZ.  The Charity benefits by increased awareness and exposure and the for profit hopes to benefit by showing they are philanthropic.  At Donation Station, they utilize a lot of social media techniques and take the burden off of the companies by handling it all.  Their services are free to non-profits and there are no guidelines or criteria to begin working with Donation Station as a non-profit.  For the for-profits, they can turn over their marketing campaign to Donation Station and let them handle it all while increasing your philanthropy.  Marcus also brought with him Don the Gorilla, a large stuffed animal that has his own Facebook page and is just another marketing technique they use at Donation Station.  Marcus invites people to please like his page https://www.facebook.com/donthegorilla and you can learn more at www.donationstation.us!

At 8am, we talked with Nick Paras on our #TechThursday edition of #ThatBusinessShow.  Nick is an expert in IT solutions and Owner of Alpha Computing Solutions specializing in anything IT including handling the IT needs for Jamie.  Closing out the show today was the duo of David Kahn and Jackie Brown. David is the Owner of Bespoke & Co. and Jackie is his Custom Clothier. Working in the apparel business since 1978, David fell in love with luxury clothing as a result of the 70’s preppy era as he admired fashion icons Ralph Lauren and Luciano Barbera. Currently, David dresses some of Tampa’s most successful executives, prominent local attorneys and professional athletes, coaches and administrators from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Tampa Bay Rays. His client list is comprised of the who’s who of the entire Tampa Bay area and extends throughout Florida and beyond to cities such as New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta. Being from a family of entrepreneurs, Jackie was compelled to start her own business when she moved to an area without a fashion design industry.  Utilizing her color coordination skills, fabric knowledge, sewing abilities, and proportion standards, Jackie began Interiors by Jackie Brown to help homeowners update their spaces so they feel at home.  Her full-service approach brought quick success to the business and a two-time inclusion in a Designer Showcase. Expanding her fashion roots, Jackie joined the Bespoke & Co. team to assist in developing their custom design offerings for men, and especially women.  Filling the ward robing needs of today’s professionals is Jackie’s foremost expertise. David and Jamie discuss the basics of custom designed clothing and David works to dispel some of the myths associated with costs as compared to traditional retail outlets. Whether you need them to come to you or in their store, they can design clothing to fit your needs and comfort while keeping you looking sharp at the same time. Kelly and Jamie discussed today about having the right organizational design. Do you have a leadership team in place and in sync? Do you have your business goals defined? Is leadership casting the right shadow? These are just some of the questions that leaders need to ask themselves to enhance their workforce culture and improve bottom line profits. A recent study shows that in a typical business, 71% of all employees are not fully engaged in their work and the mission of the organization. This is where Kelly comes in. By working with management and staff, she advised on how to improve the overall culture to get people engaged. Through the show and TBBO, she found Nick Paras. They discovered a lot of synergy exists in their businesses. Nick looks at the IT side of the business starting with an initial consultation with management and then through a software that identifies key areas of weakness in the organization’s IT. A discussion then follows on how to improve the traditional infrastructure i.e. cables, modem etc. and then a deeper discussion on the alternative infrastructure (people). This is where the synergy exists with Nick and Kelly and how you the business owner can benefit from a working relationship with Billmeyer Hamm Consulting and Alpha Computing Solutions.  #WorkingWomenWednesday With Funky Blue Hair & a Unique Tattoo Balm | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 53:36

#WorkingWomenWednesday kicked off at 8am on #ThatBusinessShow with Jessica Rivelli, Founder of the Organization, on the phone line. Working Women of Tampa Bay and Dress For Success was the topic of the #MorningDiscussion in this segment and Jessica talks about their upcoming event together and encourages others to get involved with this Global organization dedicated to helping women find professional clothing for entry into the job market when they have financial limitations. Check them out online at www.workingwomenoftampabay.com! My next guest on the program was Barbara Forgione, Owner of the Barbara Forgione Salon where she and her staff specialize in hair coming for both men and women. Sporting blue highlights which is her new pink she says, their services include full salon services and was voted as a “best kept secret” by the Tampa Bay community in past years and she was featured on MTV’s “Made” and also was hired by Paris Hilton to do her hair a few years ago when she was in town. Barbara’s hair color device: Colour Bunz® is US patented and is a washable, reusable highlighting tool used by salons that are environmentally concerned, and by ‘at home’ colorists who want to create professional looking highlights and color trends. Barbara and Jamie discuss industry trends and she shares with us the history of hair and fun facts as well on this segment. Find her online at www.barbaraforgione.com and she is located at 4317 W El Prado Blvd in Tampa. Phone is 813-832-1115. Closing out the hour was Mariely Reynoso Castillo, Creator of the Black Eye Tattoo Balm, which results in better looking tattoos, reduced swelling and redness and will help tattoos heal faster with overall better results. Black Eye avoids artificial preservatives believing that nature provides some of the best healing solutions. Additionally, Black Eye avoids the typical (and cheap) petroleum additives that over the year’s tattooists have found to dull the look of today’s modern tattoos. Preservatives and petroleum products are not helpful or healing components; they are simple and cheap materials added for the benefit of the seller of the product, not YOU the consumer. The product has additional uses too including skin moisturizing, treatment of hemorrhoids, and more of which we discuss in the final segment. The balm is in its early development phase so they are looking for partners, retailers and investors to get involved to discuss. Learn more about this at www.blackeyenatural.com!
