 RRW-No Limits | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:04:00

My two guests for May are Paull Anderson and Marilyn Meredith. This show will be a little different. Paull Anderson is not an author, well at least not the author of, The Snake Handler, instead the book is about him. From the back of book: The Snake Handler is a fast paced, non-fiction thriller that documents the amazing and intriguing fifteen year battle of a courageous Virginia farmer seeking justice agains a network of wealthy and powerful criminals. Paull is that Virginia farmer. Marilyn is a friend of many years with thirty, yes thirty, fiction books to her credit.  I’ve had the pleasure of reading a majority of them.  Marilyn writes a series with Tempe Crabtree, which is good, but my favorite is her Rocky Bluff Police Department series that she writes under F.M. Meredith. No Bells is her latest and I’m waiting impatiently for it to be out in Kindle. This should be a lively broadcast. I hope you can join me.

No show this month...April Fools!  I wouldn't miss the chance to talk with my two guests, Stephanie Burkhart and Tony Piazza.  I've had the pleasure to read books from both of them. Among many genres, Stephaine writes fantasy, one of my favorites. Tony writes hard core mysteries, think Matt Helm and Shell Scott. They both have some interesting backgrounds and I look forward to finding out more about each of them. I hope you can join for the journey.

Four Eastern: Three Central: Two Mountain: One Pacific:   I am honored to have as my guest mediatior Doug E. Nolll the author fo Elusive Peace. Creating peace- not an easy accomplishment. Everyone wants to live a peaceful life. Ideally countries and their leaders want their citizens to live threat free and in peace. The world is huge and billions of people inhabit it trying to survive, bringing up children, earning a living so why are so many bent on destroying others? Why do we need peacemakers to help us get along with our neighbors, friends, co-workers and spouses? Author Douglas E. Noll brings to light why crucial negotiations between parties fail- diplomats enter these talks with “flawed assumptions about human behavior, society, and power.” Can every conflict be resolved? Caused by humans, created and orchestrated by humans- humans have the power to end them. So, why do they choose to fight, hate, dislike and not see another persons, or group’s point of view? Doug won the international peace and justice book award. And that he won California lawyer attorney of the year award for teaching peacemaking to female prison inmates through the prison of peace project. I am your host interviewer, book reviewer, author and educator Fran Lewis. Along with Kenneth Weene and Sandra Elrod we will talk with this outstanding author and mediator.   I would also like to welcome the author of Remain in the Light Collin Kelly. Collin Kelley is the author of the novel Conquering Venus and the poetry collections Better To Travel, After the Poison, Slow To Burn and the forthcoming Render.  SPECIAL EDITION OF BOOK DISCUSSION WITH FRAN LEWIS | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:55:00

THREE EASTERN: TWO CENTRAL: ONE MOUNTAIN: 12 PACIFIC  Red River Writers and Blog Talk Radio is honored to welcome bestselling NYTimes author RaeAnne Thayne. RaeAnne Thayne will do anything to tell a story. In 15 years as a newspaper reporter and editor, she rode along with a motorcycle gang, took a trip in a hot air balloon and even gave a hunky country music star her home phone number (it was for an interview -- honest!).When she wasn't working as a journalist, though, RaeAnne worked on her real love -- writing romance novels. She dreamed of publishing a book long before she ever thought it was possible. In fact, college friends used to spend hours when they should have been studying, trying to help her come up with a good pseudonym (none of which she actually ended up using, since she writes under her own name!).After graduating from college, she took a job as a reporter at a daily newspaper, then moved to news editor. It wasn't until she was home on maternity leave after the birth of her first child in 1990 that RaeAnne seriously tried her hand at fiction writing. She sold her first book in 1995 and quit her editor job two years later to write full-time. I would also like to welcome author Patricia Briggs. Patricia is a NYTImes best selling author and her book that we are spotlighting today is Fair Game. One author that has reaped the benefits of this growing audience is #1 New York Times bestselling author Patricia Briggs. In her novels, Briggs re-imagines modern-day cities as places where supernatural beings—like werewolves, vampires, and witches—live and prosper! Penguin Books is sending Patricia Briggs on a 10-city book tour to support the release of FAIR GAME .

 RFK - Dellani's Tea Time | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:27:00

Jon Christina and Dellani when they welcome authors Deanna Meyer, Christopher Cloud and Dave Anderson!

 RRW-No Limits | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:04:00

Wow, March already.  My two guests for this month are Jay Dismas and Rebecca Guevara, Jay is a member of my local author's group and is working on his first book, Letters To Tami. Letters to Tami is a book of letters that Jay has written to his daughter in hopes of stopping the circle of abuse that he grew up surrounded by. Jay's sharing of his life with his daughter and readers is sometimes upsetting, but always compelling. He writes candidly about his prison time and the incidences of his youth that led him there. Jay is also a graphic artist. Since there is no cover for his work in progress, I've attached two of his works of art instead.   Rebecca's latest book, Blossoms of the Lower Branches deals with grief and how we can get through it one day at a time. So you can see this is a show not to be missed.  Hope to see you there.
