MIKE: "Kiera actually gives Carlos a hard time in the car during this episode about choosing Betty's side when they're on their way to Greypoint Security, but she just chose Betty's side last episode!" He immediately thinks Chen is going to kill him and with good reason. and then he turns it into a situation to his advantage, which is basically what Kellog always does." MIKE: "I was thinking, 'What's going on? So many corporate connections and it's hard to keep track of them!' And I felt much more confident about understanding what was going on during the rematch here." MIKE: "Piron Alec has not come to fruition yet, so that Alec is much more sympathetic right now than we refer to Darth Alec as Time Traveling Alec at the time, and he was the dark one. It's been ages since we talked about our favorite show, Continuum, but it's time to return to the podcast to tell you about the Continuum Countdown! Together with the ContinuumSeries folks on social media, Mike and Dave will be counting down the 36 days until the season four premiere with reminiscences of each episode of the previous three seasons, one per day. The countdown begins with the season 1, episode 1 remembrances on July 30. Mike and Dave are also taking this opportunity to talk about what they've been up to, what summer shows they've been watching, including Dark Matter, Defiance, Killjoys, Falling Skies, Extant, Humans, (caution: spoilers) and other more obscure fare. The fourth and final season of Continuum has been announced, and obviously the feelings are bittersweet. What happened to delay this announcement? Why are there only six episodes? With a new clone in the mix, it's hard to tell if the waters have been muddied or if we're headed for more clarity. Certainly, the cooperation of Ethan Duncan and the demise of one of the key players has given us hope. As we expected, Revolutions Per Minute finds Kiera starting to play into the hands of Liber8 for what she perceives to be the greater good. Alec also appears to believe he's acting in everyone's best interests as well, but perhaps they both will suffer unforeseen consequences. The involvement of Kellog and Julian is already a huge wildcard, and the Freelancers and perhaps even John Doe will become adversaries soon! The aptly titled Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things gives us a long-awaited peek behind the curtain as Michelle Forbes joins the cast as an apparent superior to Dr. Leekie. Given the shocking turn of events at the end of this episode, you can pretty much fill in any character's name for the audience question, "What's going to happen to _____ now?"
