The Continuum Countdown is almost over, but we still have a few pivotal episodes to analyze! For our season three rewatch, Dave and I recorded short discussions for all 13 episodes, and we'll release one each day up until the premiere. For each mini-podcast, I'll share with you a highlight from our analysis: a comment from Dave and one from me. Here's what we remember about ep. 309 "Minute of Silence." DAVE: "What struck me is the obvious attraction Kiera has to Brad, and at first you think it's just physical and obviously once he comes out with that comment, 'Maybe I'm not of this time,' then is it something that she just senses about him and that attraction goes more than just the physical?" MIKE: "Kiera actually gives Carlos a hard time in the car during this episode about choosing Betty's side when they're on their way to Greypoint Security, but she just chose Betty's side last episode!" For each mini-podcast, I'll share with you a highlight from our analysis: a comment from Dave and one from me. Here's what we remember about ep. 308 "So Do Our Minutes Hasten" DAVE: "How ballsy Kellog is! He immediately thinks Chen is going to kill him and with good reason. and then he turns it into a situation to his advantage, which is basically what Kellog always does." MIKE: "I was thinking, 'What's going on? So many corporate connections and it's hard to keep track of them!' And I felt much more confident about understanding what was going on during the rematch here." DAVE: "I think [Sonya] understands that very often people work for an organization that they don't really recognize and realize the full impact of what it is they're doing and what the organization is doing." MIKE: "She does tell Katherine that she's no longer asleep just from telling the story. Everything has come to here where she's wondering, 'What have I done?' especially I think with Alec." For each mini-podcast, I'll share with you a highlight from our analysis: a comment from Dave and one from me. Here's what we remember about ep. 306 "Wasted Minute." DAVE: "What struck me is that Kiera doesn't see that Time Travel Alec is the one that must be killed to ensure the future containing her family, and again I know at the time we talked about the selfishness of that choice." MIKE: "Wow, way back here in 2013, they already had the means to make this weapon that they wouldn't end up using until the 2060's?? That's a long time to hold onto something like that!" MIKE: "Dillon's act with his daughter: so, so, so dangerous to try and get her into Liber8, and she just buys into it! Almost like she's being a loyal daughter but at the same time being manipulated by her father somewhat." Carlos asking him, 'Cop or terrorist?' and we ask the same question about Kiera, and she's beginning to ask the same question of herself as this season goes on." DAVE: "I guess I thought Emily might be a little more savvy... Look, it's not as if she hasn't killed before, so if she really is in love with Alec... heck, why not kill Kellog?" MIKE: "Piron Alec has not come to fruition yet, so that Alec is much more sympathetic right now than we refer to Darth Alec as Time Traveling Alec at the time, and he was the dark one. But then they switch places."
