People love their health savings accounts (HSA). They reward people for not being wasteful and staying healthy. But why can’t seniors in Medicare have them? John Goodman, the president of the Goodman Institute and co-publisher of Health Care News talks about why it makes sense for Congress to support a Medicare Roth HSA, an account seniors can fund with after-tax money to help with out-of-pocket Medicare expenses, which can run into thousands of dollars. Research published by Dr. Arthur Viterito indicates nature, not greenhouse gas emissions, is the largest driving force behind climate change. After surveying the literature in various disciplines, Viterito's research shows a strong correlation between an uptick in subsurface oceanic seismic and volcanic activity in 1995, that is continuing today,  that has a significant influence on large oceanic circulation patterns. This turn effects ocean temperatures and other climatic activity, yet these influences are not accounted for in climate models.

Watts was invited on the program to rebut claims that the American West is experiencing the worst drought in 1,200 years. That's right, since the 9th Century A.D., and that human emissions of carbon dioxide is to blame.   Not only did California just experience one of the wettest Decembers on record, Watts explains how this claim of the worst drought since the year 822 depends on a statistical trick. The study also just blames all warming since 1850 on human activity, but the data show the earth was on a warming trend long before the start of the Industrial Revolution and there is quite a bit of warming one must blame on nature.

Armed with information provided by The Heartland Institute, a number of states are passing bills and regulations which pull the states' business, bond writing, pension management, etc…,  from banks, fund management firms, and pension funds whose managers are placing support for progressive ESG and social credit score goals ahead of making a profit and a return on investment. The states laws are intended to prevent woke company managers from forcing the companies and individuals they do business with to divest from companies in politically disfavored industries, primarily but not solely, fossil fuels. ESG investing is bad for financial returns, bad for taxpayers, and ultimately bad for the U.S. economy.

Freedom of speech is an unalienable right. It is not granted by government. It preexists the government itself. The Founding Fathers established the United States of America to protect our unalienable rights. Today, freedom of speech is under a direct threat. In the United States, there are three corporations that control 97 percent of social media activity. One company controls 75 percent. Three companies controlling 97 percent isn’t problematic in and of itself, but the suppression of Americans’ right to free speech is. The problem worsened when the White House press secretary admitted that the White House directs Big Tech on what should be censored and removed from the internet. This is antithetical to the vision the Founding Fathers had for the purpose of government. James Taylor, president of The Heartland Institute, testifies in Ohio in favor of protecting freedom of speech on social media platforms. States across the country must draw a line in the sand and prohibit social media companies and the federal government from suppressing speech that they deem unfavorable for their agenda.

The Great Reset poses a significant threat to individual liberty, and unfortunately, it seems like there are Great Reset developments occurring nearly every week. Fortunately, a new bill was introduced in New Hampshire that prohibits banks or businesses from using social credits scores in business activities. Social credit scores rank individuals on standards such as where their energy comes from, what their values social values are, and how in line they are with the politically favored ideology. Texas has an abundance of coal, natural gas, and oil, leading you to believe it'd have a reliable power grid. This was once true, but politicians started overruling engineers and mucking with the power grid. As it stands, subsidized renewable power sources forced onto the system have left Texans vulnerable to power outages, a problem that could worsen in the future. During the next legislative session, legislators should implement reforms that prioritize reliability of the electric power system. Wind and solar power subsidy recipients, not Texas’ ratepayers, should pay to ensure sufficient reliable baseload power exists when nature doesn't keep turbines turning or solar panels generating. When Canadian truckers were told they would no longer be allowed to cross the border from the U.S. without showing proof of vaccination, they said “enough!” Tens of thousands of truckers formed the “Freedom Convoy” and converged on Ottawa in protest of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s draconian restrictions enacted in the name of the coronavirus. Supporters waving Canadian flags have braved sub-zero temperatures, cheering them on as they fight for their rights. The group has already raised over $8 million in support. The convoy has received international attention from the likes of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, and Jordan Peterson.
