Sofie was born in Denmark and raised by two Special Ed teachers. Her father is an entrepreneur, having created an entire education system for Special Ed students in Denmark. She moved to the US in 1999 after meeting her husband, and had previously completed her nursing education in her native country. Working in pediatrics for many years, she noticed how children were not well-prepared for medical procedures, and when her son had a negative experience undergoing a procedure, she decided to take matters into her own hands. In partnership with illustrator Mike Ferrin, Sofie has now created her own line of children’s books with the goal of assisting children in being prepared for various medical and diagnostic procedures.

Linda’s role is educating healthcare professionals in hospitals, infusion centers, and offices in a large territory in the Northeast. An accomplished health management professional with extensive clinical expertise within the hospital, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Linda's career spans several decades and includes 17 years at Albany Medical College and nine years as an Assistant Executive Director of a regional hemophilia center. She has been very successful in many roles in the pharmaceutical industry, including with her current company. Linda received her RN in 1992 after many years as a nurse’s aide and LPN. In 1994, she received her BSN at Regents College (now known as Excelsior College). In 1999, she was awarded an MBA by the State University New York at Albany.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, David S. Rodriguez graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1976 and began working as a Nursing Assistant in a local nursing home. His nursing career began in 1978 while enrolled in what was then known as the St Vincent’s School of Nursing. In 1983, he became licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator, and has served in this capacity in three Santa Fe facilities.   Mr. Rodriguez served as a state and federal inspector, and also as the Director of the Division of Health Improvement, which was the regulatory arm of the New Mexico Department of Health for all licensed health care facilities. Most recently, Mr. Rodriguez opened a new hospice agency here in Santa Fe, known as Del Corazon Hospice ("From the Heart"). Del Corazon has served nearly one hundred families in Santa Fe since opening in January of 2012.

  Ann Johnson is co-founder and CEO of Wild Iris Medical Education. She is a Registered Nurse who has worked in many areas of the profession.  Ann’s last hospital job was as an emergency department manager and director of the Drug-Free Workplace Program at Ukiah Valley Medical Center in Ukiah, California. She was also a nursing instructor for 5 years at College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg, California. Ann lives and now works from her property in the redwoods of California. She served 25 years as a volunteer fire fighter with the Comptche Volunteer Fire Department. Wild Iris was founded in 1999, and sold their first CEU course the day that the company launched. Dr. Victoria Rich is recognized for her leadership in healthcare, business and nursing education; and most notably for her pioneering work in patient safety and cultural diversity. Dr. Rich has developed numerous patient safety initiatives for healthcare systems both nationally and internationally. Her experiential knowledge enabled her to develop a model for creating a risk reduction culture in healthcare through the process of systemic mindfulness. Dr. Rich, a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, is currently Chief Nurse Executive and Associate Executive Director at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. She directs inpatient and outpatient nursing practice at the 802-bed, quaternary acute care academic center and 47 medical practice sites.  For the last 10 years, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania has been ranked as one of Best Hospitals in the Philadelphia region and the the United States by US News and World Report. Dr. Rich is one of the few Chief Nurse Executives in the United States who also is an Associate Professor of Nursing Administration at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Nursing. This joint appointment has enabled her to impact the changing landscape of healthcare by embracing a vision of a decreased variation and continuity of patient care delivery systems. Dr. Rich has created the Rich Leadership Academy, which is comprised of expert Nurse Leaders who customize day long programs to nursing organizations who are requesting nurse renewal strategies, tool kits for patient and employee safety and patient satisfaction innovative approaches to engage clinical staff to be accountable.
