Gary has been a producer of podcasts in the past, assisting Zaracon with those duties when he was a regular host on Pagans Tonight. After an extended absence, Zaracon and RevKess return to Pagan Weekly News. Z is getting settled into his new digs and RevKess is continuing his roller coaster ride of a crazy work schedule. They will over come! In this first of the 2014 editions, your hosts will play a little catch up and get you up to date on some of the news that effects the Pagan community. Topics may include entertainment, community events, health issues and news of the weird. The hosts hope that you will tune in and share with them. RevKess includes a new segment: God/dess of the Week. This week, Prometheus.

All across the United States and aroun the world there are many Pagan community events every year. Some or big, some are small. All are structured with the initial intent of bringing the Pagan community together. Lions and Tigers and BEARS, Oh Myy! Corwin and Phil were joined by *K8 and two of the founding members of the Omaha Bears group Big O! Bears, Bradley Dorenkamp and his fiancee Jeremy Kalina. Along with the news stories and opinions pieces shared by your hosts, the guests talked about the bear community, what it means to be a bear, how bears are part of the LGBTQA community and related issues. To help celebrate 3 years on the air, Russ Roberts of Plymouth Pride Fellowship, the LGBTQIAA church group associated with 1st Plymouth in Lincoln, NE and Chris Chapek, politcal consultant to Nebraska State Sentator Danielle Conrad, visited with your hosts. Russ came to talk about PPF's potluck, politics and updates dinner on Sunday 23 February 2014. He also introduced Corwin and Phil to Chris. Chris visted to discuss LB485, the bill currently in committee for the Unicameral Legislature that would amend Nebraska's non-discrimination law to include protections for sexual orientation and gender identity. Corwin and Phil would like to thank the KZUM members who pledged their support during the show (the one's they know of at the time of this podcast going live) Joan, Russ, and Ron.

This week Corwin and Phil are joined by David Csontos, Lincoln based playwright and director. He joins them around the 30 minute mark to talk about independent gay theatre in the Lincoln, NE area.

Continuing with the Story Time series, RevKess has gotten permission from a recent guest on Murphy's Magic Mess to upload her Winter Tale. Halldora Gudnisdottir is the winner of the 2013 Bardic Competition for the Barony of Mag Mor's Yule Court in 2013. This is a Nordic-ization of a story from her childhood. It is based on true events, just put into the style of a Nordic tale. Halldora joined the Mess on Sunday 9 February 2013 to share her tale. The Mess airs live on KZUM every Sunday at 9am. Brining to the listener nearly 20 years of Pagan radio content, the world's longest running Pagan radio show.

Continuing with stories, RevKess relates a tale of Brighid. Originally written by Literata Hurley, this story tells of the three gifts of Brighid. RevKess recorded this for airing on Murphy's Magic Mess on Brighid's Day 2014. All music included in this story is by Celia, the ending song was written by Selena Fox and recorded by Celia and Selena in 2013.
