PMP: "The Witch's Eight Paths of Power" by Sable Aradia | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:02:00

Join RevKess and Kalisara as we talk to author Sable Aradia about her upcoming book, "The Witch's Eight Paths of Power": Using Gerald Gardner's Eightfold Way as a structural model, Lady Sable Aradia has created a series of courses designed to teach the contemporary seeker about the mechanics and techniques of her revised eight paths: intent, trance, the craft, intoxicants, dance and sacred movement, blood and breath, the Scourge, and the Great Rite. With the help of exercises, meditations, and practical magick, any serious student of witchcraft will be able to master these eight paths to improve their skills, the effectiveness of their magic, and truly live a powerful and magickal life. From spellwork to sex magick to flying ointments, this extensive workshop-in-a book will bring you back to the basics to master the advanced art of witchcraft. Sable Aradia is a licensed Wiccan minister and a Third Degree initiate in the Star Sapphire and Pagans for Peace traditions. Her passion is teaching self-empowerment through study of the Craft. A writer, musician, vlogger and podcaster, she makes her living doing psychic and Tarot readings, and by teaching workshops. She also writes a column called "49 Degrees: Canadian Pagan Perspectives" at Witches and Pagans Magazine's website, PaganSquare, and a subscription-only Premium teaching blog based on her upcoming book "The Witch's Eight Paths of Power" (Weiser / Red Wheel, Fall of 2014) at Patheos (http://www.patheos.com/premium/witchs8paths.)  Special: Oberon, Ariel & Morning Glory | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:10:00

Morning Glory has returned home at Ravenhaven to be with her beloved Oberon and their many friends and family. She is not long for this realm, but she holds on to complete her life's work: recording the many stories related to her over 300 Goddess figures. On July 16, 2011, Oberon, Morning Glory and Ariel joined RevKess and KaliSara for a conversation on the show. This was around the time that Oberon and Ariel started their series on Pagans Tonight, before Oberon took leave and Ariel moved to another channel. At one point during the show RevKess excused himself to answer a call of nature, upon his return he heard an unfamiliar voice on the headset. It would seem that Oberon had also excused himself for whatever reason and had handed the phone over to his beloved Morning Glory. In her brief segment she spoke about her Goddess collection and the weekend long workshops that she and Oberon taught at their home. RevKess had originally intended to edit the recording down to just MG's segment, but he thought better of that. At the time of this airing MG is alive and kicking - so why not celebrate her and Oberon and all the work they do with a full rebroadcast!? So here it is, PMPChannel hopes that you all enjoy this rare peek into the lives and mysteries of CAW, Green Egg, and the awesomeness that is Oberon and Morning Glory!

PMP: Sex, ethics & abuse in the magickal world, Part 2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:38:00

TRIGGER WARNING: Some or all of the discussion in this episode may be triggering to individuals. In this second part, join RevKess and Kalisara as we expand on the topic of sex abuse in the Pagan community. We will be looking at the concept of consent, as well as talking with a few guests. Cat Chapin-Bishop became a psychotherapist in 1986, and she has had about 20 years of experience as a counselor specializing in work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She served as the first Chair of Cherry Hill Seminary's Pastoral Counseling Department, and designed the earliest version of CHS's Boundaries and Ethics course, which is still central to the program there. Cat has been a Pagan since 1987, and a Quaker as well as a Pagan since 2001. Her writings can be found online at Quaker Pagan Reflections (http://quakerpagan.blogspot.com/). Amber Moon, a Pagan police officer and one of the leaders of Officers of Avalon (http://www.officersofavalon.com/  https://www.facebook.com/groups/138693635354/), was to be discussing how to report abuse, but was unable to make it due to a work issue. We will also be taking a look at the problem arising from the Florida Pagan Gathering's choice to include Gavin & Yvonne Frost in their guest lineup. The Frosts published a book in the 70s in which they explicitely encouraged the sexual initiation of minors. To date, they have not recanted this (they, in fact, republished the book with this concept intact), nor have they stopped promoting the idea in workshops and presentations.
