Conservitive blogger, video editor and all around lying scumbag Andrew Breitbart died just after midnight last night according to reports and the cause of death is a mystery. Reports have ranged from an enlarged heart to unspecified heart problems. The coroner has yet to issue a report for the exact cause of death.  Download 64kbs MP3   From conservative rags to so-called liberal outlets like the New York Times, many are trying to gloss over the fact the Brietbart was a racist and aliar who used manipulated and staged videos to attack political enemies on the left including voter registration groups like ACORN and his edited video of a Shirley Sherrod speech directly led to her being fired by the Obama administration.   Tonight I am joined by Marty Owings a former Blog Talk Radio host who now is a reporter and livestream host for the independent news organization Minnesota Capitol News.  Minnesota Capitol News is a non-partisan, independent site devoted to news, information and commentary on issues from the State Capitol and politics throughout Minnesota.

Ending the Drug War w/ former narcotics officer Jay Fleming | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:36:00

Tonight on LEAP DAY we ending the Drug War with former undercover narcotics officer Jay Fleming. After the "war on drugs" was declared, this dedicated law enforcer enlisted to make drug buys for the police department in his hometown of Spokane, Washington. Over the next 15 years, Jay fought against the burgeoning drug trade in various capacities. He trained undercover narcotics officers in Spokane and hired out to other departments across the Northwest, conducting long-term undercover investigations of murder, drugs and money laundering.   Listen to Cd quality live audio stream   Jay recalls a drug case he worked on in Spokane that led investigators into Texas. The sheriff advised to not pursue because it would cost too much money and their department wouldn't receive credit. In Jay's experience, this wasn't an isolated incident, but rather the status quo. "If you called the DEA, it was the same thing," he says. "Unless it involved a ton of coke or pot, they didn't want anything to do with you."

The Drug War is a war on indigenous people & families | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

The war on drugs does more to destroy the family unit than the actual drugs themselves. Joining me tonight will be James Mooney of LEAP & Oklevueha Native American Church. Download 64kbs MP3 As co-founder of the Oklevueha Native American Church (ONAC), James has several roles through which he attempts to correct some of the damage the war on drugs has perpetrated upon American families. In addition to his role as an American Native Elder Seminole Medicine Man, James serves as the director of the recidivism reduction ‘clergy’ program (Habilitative Programs) of ONAC. In James’s opinion, the war on drugs is presently the largest contributing factor to the disruption of the American family unit. ONAC is dedicated in doing everything in its power to heal the destruction that the war on drugs has perpetrated upon our families. Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) is a non-profit organization formed by cops, judges and others in the criminal justice system who believe the War on Drugs has been an expensive failure that has only made our nation's tragic drug problem worse.  Listener Supported Radio - Donate Now!

Tonight I am joined by members of the organization Stop Mass Incarceration. In law school he participated in clinics geared at protecting the legal rights of indigent immigrant clients. He sees stop and frisk as initiating  a slow death on the Black and Brown population of NYC.   Noche Lares is one of the young freedom fighter who took up the call from Cornel West and Carl Dix for a campaign of Civil Disobedience targeting the NYPD Stop and Frisk policy as part of raising the level of resistance to Mass Incarceration. Noche is also part of a group of revolutionaries who initiated the People's Neighborhood Patrol in Harlem to stand up against illegal and illegitimate police activity against the people. Kurt Haskell, a Michigan lawyer is a victim/witness to so-called "Underwear Bombing" plot to blow up a plane over Detroit. Download 64kbs MP3 He says the media and the US Govt is covering up that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was allowed to board the flight without a passport after being denied at the gate but then escorted through by a man in a tan suit. Haskell recently gave a witness impact statement in the case. "I will just say that regardless of how the media and government try to shape the public perception of this case, I am convinced that Umar was given an intentionally defective bomb by a U.S. Government agent and placed on our flight without showing a passport or going through security, to stage a false terrorist attack to be used to implement various government policies." - Kurt Haskell Listener Supported Radio - Donate Now!

Ending the Drug War w/ Leonard Frieling | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:58:00

A new drug law has been signed by President Obama. The Ultralight Aircraft Smuggling Prevention Act of 2012 closes a loophole that treated the use of ultralight aircraft to help with drug smuggling different from the use of other aircraft. Now, their use can bring a long jail sentence and stiff fines.   Listen or Download 64kbs MP3   Tonight I am joined by Leonard Frieling of Law Enforcement Against Prohibtion. Mr. Frieling says "If the government stopped creating and supporting the artificially high street price of illegal drugs, the drug-associated crime would disappear."   In the course of his practice as a judge and a criminal defense attorney, he has witnessed that the prohibition of drugs is the main cause of the violence associated with the use and distribution of drugs. Addicts are driven to desperate measures including robbery by the artificially inflated prices of drugs, while criminal elements are enriched and empowered through their dominance of this lucrative market. Leonard notes, "In 32 years of criminal defense practice, I have never encountered a turf-war involving coffee."

Is Mayor Michael Bloomberg (D) ignoring NYPD crisis? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:00:00

Did Roland Martin get dissed by Black Journalist Association | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:37:00

Was Roland Martin discriminated against by CNN? When you look at two recent cases involving offensive statements made by other CNN contributor, there is one glaring difference. Where is the National Black Journalist Association on the Martin suspension?   It did not take long for election fraud to rear its ugly head and we haven't made it to the general election. It appears that a Romney supporter may be linked to conspiracy to not count results in Maine.   Contrast some of the late pop Diva Whitney Houston's Grammy performances with that of Nicki Minaj's halloweenesque and just plain wierd performance last night.   We'll also be taking your calls and reporting your news at 347-826-9112
