Today we're looking back at the first six months of the year, looking forward to the next six months and reviewing The Amazing Spider-Man. On top of that we have a double dose of Good Comments, your questions, over/unders and a very special bit of outro music provided by the construction workers on the other side of Brad's apartment wall. Oh yes, it is epic.

It was a busy week of reviews as we disagree on Ted and People Like Us, agree on Magic Mike and I give my thoughts on To Rome with Love, which Laremy didn't see. Of course, on top of that we get to several of your questions, over/unders, buy or sells, a new Good Comments segment, more Good Tweets and just all around randomness. This episode runs just over 86 minutes and will hopefully keep you satisfied until our July 3 episode where we'll dig into The Amazing Spider-Man.

A shorter episode for you on this lovely June Tuesday where it is raining outside in Seattle and we are talking movies in your ear hole. As always on Tuesday we are talking new DVDs and Blu-rays and as always we are getting to your questions, over/unders and buy or sells along with news that James Cameron is working on three Avatar sequels, a discussion of Aaron Sorkin's writing, a look at the trend in basing opinions on the reviews of others and update to the Box-Office Challenge and more.

I don't like to be egotistical, but I am feeling I have hit #GoodComments gold with this episode in which we also tackle reviews of Brave, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World and HBO's "The Newsroom" along with answering your questions, discussing the latest news and offering over/unders and all the other randomness we explore in each and every episode.

Now this is an all-over-the-board kind of podcast as Laremy and I argue senselessly over The Great Gatsby and Django Unchained for some reason and then can't seem to see eye-to-eye in a Prometheus sequel discussion before finally settling down to discuss the just-released Forbes list of Top Ten Highest Paid Actresses. From there it's all roses with Over/Unders, a new Good Comments, your questions, new DVD and Blu-rays, The Amazing Spider-Man is discussed along with a bunch of other nonsense. Hopefully you'll be entertained� hopefully.

Today's podcast has a little bit of everything as we not only review Rock of Ages and That's My Boy, answer listener questions, reveal some #GoodComments, play a little "Buy or Sell" and "Over/Unders" but also have a few stories to share. Hopefully it ushers in a great weekend for all.

Another episode of the RopeofSilicon podcast is upon us and it's time to put the finishing touches on Prometheus (for now), discuss a little "True Blood", talk new DVDs and Blu-rays, explore our Summer Box-Office Competition, invite you to watch Bio-Dome which we'll discuss on Friday, answering your questions, over/unders and much, much more.

We have our first guest host this week as we welcome Kevin Jagernauth from The Playlist to come and discuss all the latest news, share in over/unders, but most importantly to help explore Ridley Scott's world of Prometheus. This episode runs 106 minutes long with 46 of those minutes dedicated solely to Prometheus. We do go into spoilers, but we have chosen to end the podcast with our review so if you want to avoid spoilers we clearly note the exact moment we will begin discussing them. So you can simply stop the podcast at that point and be free and clear and return once you've seen the film.

Another episode is in the can and we offer it to you commercial free as Laremy still cannot get a sponsor for his #GoodTweets segment. In this episode we offer a review of the dreadful Piranha 3DD, Brad reads a comment left on his Snow White and the Huntsman review in dramatic fashion, we talk a bit more about Prometheus and take your questions, over/unders, buy or sell and toss in a brief commentary on the NBA Playoffs.

Today's episode goes a bit all over the place as we bounce around from box-office conversation with Moonrise Kingdom's limited release success, venture into listener questions, discuss ad-supported mediums from websites to television shows to films and then do a little Cannes Film Festival clean-up as we prepare for a week of screenings that includes Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus.

We are back! Brad is back from Cannes, but unfortunately a family emergency sent Laremy to Florida so just as one of us settles in the other is on the go. However, a podcast was recorded and we both have some nightmare airline stories to tell while Brad discusses Cannes, we catch up on Laremy's thoughts on Battleship, a few Over/Unders, some movie news and a farewell.

Brad is heading to the Cannes Film Festival on Monday, May 14 and as a result this is probably going to be the last podcast until Friday, May 25. So what have we decided to do? We've decided to bring you the longest podcast to date. Coming in at one hour, 43 minutes and 20 seconds, this Friday edition podcast brings you everything from reviews of Dark Shadows and The Dictator to an embarrassing story of Brad's visit to the doctor. We discuss the actors dropping out of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, the trailer for Gangster Squad (even though neither of us watched it), Laremy's confusion between baseball players and filmmakers and his bad mood that caused for an angry comment on last week's podcast. Then we move to listener questions, over/unders, Good Tweets and a bevvy of other knicks and knacks.

The Avengers dominated the box-office so you know we have to talk about it, Laremy's $144 million prediction, our Summer Box-Office competition and we rank the six Avengers films so far. From there we discuss the week's new DVD and Blu-ray releases, word there may be a new "Friday Night Lights" movie, your questions, over/unders, Good Tweets and we did it all in 91 minutes, which is really, really, really long� hopefully we are able to keep you entertained throughout.

Today Laremy and I are closing out the week with a Summer Movie Preview edition of the podcast in which we discuss our most anticipated films of the summer as well as do a ten film draft with both of us selecting movies based on how much money we'll think each will make against two-and-a-half times their budget. I was going to include the list with this podcast, but I think I'll hold off so it doesn't spoil it for those that would prefer to listen first. So going forward the list will be included with each new podcast, updated with new numbers and standings. On top of that we have a few random topics early on, we get to a bunch of your questions and over/under suggestions and I include a few thoughts on Mel Gibson's Get the Gringo.
