We're still trying to get situated with the soundboard, but I think we have a good Tuesday show for you with our usual coverage of the new DVDs and Blu-rays, lots of Oscar talk, a brief conversation about this year's Super Bowls and #GoodComments makes a triumphant return. We're also playing Over/Under, Buy or Sell a little Percentages and Would You Rather on top of a couple early rants from Brad regarding his taxes.

We also talk about J.J. Abrams getting the Star Wars: Episode VII directing gig, the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards and answer several of your questions, Over/Unders, Buy or Sells and we continue to Play the Percentages. It's an all new episode of the RopeofSilicon Podcast and Brad isn't recording his side of the conversation off his monitor mic this time around and yet, his audio is quite bad nonetheless so we apologize for that and will hopefully have that squared away sooner rather than later. As for today's episode we talk a little about the 2012 RopeofSilicon Awards and Laremy names his favorite performances from 2012, we talk briefly about the Box-Office challenge, there was a John C. Reilly security guard sighting in the wild, we get to several of your questions and play a little Over/Under and Watch This or Watch That. Also, thanks to your contributions we have an all new segment of Oddsmakers, which we hope you will continue to supply suggestions for to shake things up a bit.

Due to audio difficulties you may not want to listen to this episode. Just a warning going in as today we quickly run through reviews of The Last Stand, Broken City and Mama before exploring Oscar talk, Over/Unders, Buy or Sells, Would You Rathers and several of your questions. All-in-all I think it is a pretty good episode, but unfortunately the audio problems may make it hard to listen to.

Today the 2013 Golden Globe Awards give us plenty to talk about including Oscar speculation and Jodie Foster's speech. On top of that we breeze through new DVDs and Blu-rays, discuss our time watching "Book of Mormon" and return to the Django Unchained conversation. It's 2013 and we're back on schedule with our first podcast of the new year. No new reviews today, but we do manage to dig into several listener questions talking about the Oscar race, Writers Guild nominations, Django Unchained, The Perks of Being a Wallflower and our Box-Office Challenge. We also have a lengthy session of Over/Under and Buy or Sell, capped off with a new edition of Guess the Film Based on Its Foreign Title courtesy of Quickslay. Today's episode runs just over 100 minutes and by this time next week we will have our first review of the new year with Gangster Squad. We hope you enjoy.

I hope you have some time off from work because we have gone and recorded the longest podcast in RopeofSilicon history for our 2012 Holiday Spectacular. Clocking in at two hours, 30 minutes and 30 seconds Laremy and I take a look back at 2012 and bring along a few guests to help us out. The guest line-up includes RopeofSilicon contributor Kevin Blumeyer, Kevin Jagernauth from The Playlist, Emma and Aurelien (aka The French Connection) from CinemaTeaser.com and finally Vince Mancini from FilmDrunk.com. It's a diverse group and a wide range of opinions and titles are discussed. This is the final podcast of 2012 and so we did our best to go out with a bang.
