Gamers Lounge Gencon Special #2 Gamers Lounge on the road recording continuing our discussion of the Gencon 2011 Master of Malifaux tournament. This recording covers just Round 4, the final round of the tournament.

Gamers Lounge Gencon Special #1 Gamers Lounge on the road recording again. There is some noise in the background of this recording, as we were recording on the road back from Gencon. This first special episode talks about Dixon and Bill arriving at Gencon, and the first several rounds of the Master of Malifaux tournament. No real markers because I have not re-listened to the whole recording. I hope the volume is higher in this one and everyone enjoys!

Gamers Lounge Episode 36 – Gencon Discussions The Gamers Lounge is chock full of Awesome this episode, with both 1st and 2nd generation AWESOME co-hosts Mike and Dan joining Bill in the studio. We kick off talking about  the end of the Malifaux League and the recent Tournament Bill and Dan attended. We ramble a bit and have a couple good laughs. Gamers Lounge Episode 33 – New Blood Gamers Lounge goes through some changes this episode. Bill is joined by eChris and Dixon to discuss a number of gaming topics. Lounge Talk covers a recent Malifaux tournament we traveled to NY for, along with some 40K games Dixon and eChris have been playing. Our topic this episode is player skills, and what makes a good, skilled, or competitive player in a game. While we try to stay generic, we drift a fair amount toward Malifaux since that’s what we are playing a lot of. M&SU Bar talks about random terrain and also covers how flat elevations work in game. Gamers Lounge Episode 31 – But can they fight demons? Episode 31 finds the lounge jam packed with experts, with another attempt at a round-table-esque discussion. We kick off with introductions and a little bit about what we have been up to. Lounge Talk quickly turns into our first topic, which is a Gamers Lounge style discussion of Grey Knights. If your looking for Tactical Analysis, this is not the place to come to. If your looking for a general, all around overview, this probably is still not the place. Really, this is a discussion of lists we are seeing, disagreeing with other community opinions, and Bill becoming more and more disgusted with another Space Marine army. Following a small break, we roll into a pre-recorded M&SU Bar, where a local player talks with us about Collette. This is a good discussion, about twice as long as we were aiming for. Gamers Lounge Episode 30 The boys are back! In this episode Bil and Jay talk about Bill’s WHFB games at Adpticon, Jay’s recent hiatus from podcasting, and other happenings over the past 6 weeks. They also speak briefly about Blood Reaver and Age of Darkness form the Black Library. During the Noob & Nob, they start talking about Assassination runs and their role in the WarmaHordes game.
