 ** Everyone Orchestra ** Set 1 - 2-22-07 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

EO featuring for the Georgia Theatre performance: Matt Butler Brock Butler (P Groove) Jeff Coffin (The Flecktones) Asher Fulero Chris Haugen (The Axis Brothers, Jambay) Steve Kimock Jeff Sipe (Phil and Friends, Trey Anastasio , ARU) Tanya Shylock (Mountain of Venus ) Mike Sugar (Jambay) THE EVERYONE ORCHESTRA is a revolving cast of stellar musicians brought together by drummer/conductor Matt Butler for concerts, festival super jams and special benefit events. EO performances are designed to create space for each performer's musical personality to shine, engage the audience as participants in the jam and to facilitate a massive celebratory coming together featuring a conductor directing both musicians and audience alike in interactive, lively, and highly danceable movements. "We pass the 'musical talking stick' around the collective group of players and take turns leading the stage, much like sharing music around a campfire. We also play musical improv games that I sometimes refer to as 'music sports'. Then we culminate in moments when everyone is on stage at once, playing conducted improvisations together," says Butler, who is also the founder of the group. The Everyone Orchestra has performed its shows nationally featuring members of The Grateful Dead, Phish, ALO, Disco Biscuits, The Derek Trucks Band, Fishbone, Poi Dog Pondering, String Cheese Incident, and Steve Kimock, G. Love, painters, dancers, hula hoopers, firespinners, stiltwalkers, activists, presidential candidates, storytellers and hundreds of others. While Butler is the primary conductor, others who have taken the helm of EO include Zilla's Jamie Janover, former Leftover Salmon bassman Tye North, Jon Fishman, SCI's Michael Travis, ALO's Dan Lebowitz and Zach Giil, Kai Eckhardt, Jambay's Mike Sugar plus other musicians and lucky members of the audience. Through the events and work of The Everyone Orchestra, close to $100,000 has been raised for contributions to non-profit and environmental organizations around the nation.

 ** Dark Star Orchstra ** - Set 1 - 2-21-07 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

Dark Star Orchestra ach night, the Chicago-based band decides on performing one show from the 2,500 that the Grateful Dead performed during their 30 year tenure as fathers of improvisational rock. As a chamber orchestra interprets Bach or Mozart, Dark Star Orchestra presents the complete original set list, song by song, and in order, recreating historic music with uncanny faithful interpretation. DSO is drawing national attention with their true-to-life performances. Rolling Stone praises "Dark Star Orchestra's fanatical attention to detail." USA Today says DSO is "channeling the Dead" and the Washington Post declares them "the hottest Grateful Dead tribute act going." Dallas Morning News affirms DSO is "the next best thing to being there", the Denver Post describes Dark Star Orchestra as a perfection-oriented practitioner of homage and the Associated Press notes that DSO takes its act to a level of detail that befits a rock band famous for its fanatical following. The group has its craft so well-refined that even members of the Grateful Dead themselves, rhythm guitarist/singer Bob Weir, drummer Bill Kreutzmann, vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux, and keyboardists Vince Welnick and Tom Constanten, have appeared on stage and performed with these live music interpreters. The group recently performed their 1000th show and has released a three disc set of that performance from October 2004. Precision is king with this group, which position the stage plot based on the year of Grateful Dead show to be performed. Dark Star Orchestra adapts their phrasing, voice arrangements, and even arranges specific musical equipment for the various eras in which they perform. At the end of every performance, the band announces the date and venue where the original show just covered took place. Dark Star Orchestra dips into every incarnation of the Dead, so most fans can see shows that happened long before they were born. Were given a canvas with a boundary, whatever the stage set up is the framework and all of the painting that we do within that framework is unique to us, says rhythm guitarist/vocalist Rob Eaton. So we offer the sound and the structure, but all the stroking and painting is all us. So its fresh at the same time and also very historically correct.

 ** Liquid Jungle ** 1-10-07 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

Liquid Jungle Liquid Jungle is the combined effort of four musicians creating cutting edge grooves through a sonic blend of hard rock and funk. Together they have developed a unique sound resulting from an eclectic mixture of styles, rhythms, and time changes. Their music is full of hypnotic riffs, ethereal melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and a distinctive style designed to open minds, move feet, and shake the soul. Identical twin front men, Josh and Graham Yoder, have shared a common passion for music and art from an early age. They began writing songs together at the age of eleven; by the time the boys turned fifteen they were performing at clubs throughout Atlanta. Now 22, theyve mastered a unique style demonstrated by their incredible chemistry on stage. Josh describes this phenomenon as a sort of telepathic communication. We finish each others thoughts constantly and during improv, we find ourselves following each other without even realizing it. In the spring of 2004, they were introduced to Jason Monseur, who provides the rhythmic force that drives Liquid Jungles sound. With Monseur in place behind the drums, the band is free to explore, experiment, and grow musically. Soon after the addition of Monsuer, Liquid Jungle began working on their first album, and released the self-titled disc in November 2004. In 2005, they recruited close friend, Zack Varner, to enhance the bands musical depth. Varner has further expanded the sound with his impressive keyboard, guitar, saxophone and vocal skills. Liquid Jungles live performances have been creating quite a stir in the Atlanta, Athens, and Milledgeville music scenes. Their diverse style has made them Atlanta favorites at the Brandyhouse, where they played packed out shows regularly. Their reputation has taken them to Smiths Olde Bar, 10 High, The Masquerade, and The Hard Rock Cafe. Theyve made their presence known in Athens with well-received shows at 40 Watt, Tasty World, Last Call, and DTs Downunder. They also have growing fanbases in NC, SC, TN and AL. Having shared the stage with Johnny Neel from The Allman Brothers, George Porter Jr. of the Funky Meters, Matt Abts of Govt. Mule, and Brian Stoltz from Bob Dylans band, is affirmation of Liquid Jungles current success and foreshadows an even brighter future. In the words of Todd Ziegler, Atlantashows.com, The chemistry among the members generated results which would make an alchemist jealous each plays with the chops and musicality which would make schooled pros simmer with envy In the spring of 2005, Graham had the privilege of touring with Moonshine Still as their interim lead guitarist while the bands regular guitarist was recuperating from an accident. Graham got a good taste of life on the road while making lifelong friends for himself and the rest of Liquid Jungle.

 ** The Frequency ** 2-3-07 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

The Frequency The early roots of the group can be traced years back to a listening session of the Beatles' Abbey Road (Side B) when after several beers and multiple listens, college bandmates Marc Cazorla and Alex Stiff coined the name "Chakadoon" as a reference to a rhythmic aspect of the music. Years later, as Alex and Marc each became accomplished music producers in Los Angeles, they have finally joined forces as a duo, known as The Chakadoons. Their music can already be heard on Concord Records' "Bill Cosby and Quincy Jones: The New Mixes," an album ranked ..2 album of the year by Newsweek magazine, and an upcoming Concord release called "Explorations" featuring artists such as Thievery Corporation, Ozomatli, Mario C (producer of the Beastie Boys) and others.
