 ** Perpetual Groove ** Set 2 - 12-30-05 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

Perpetual Groove This quartet from Savannah, GA has a long list of accolades -- named one of the top ten bands to watch in 2005 by Relix magazine, they performed to over 20,000 people at Bonnaroo, have made appearances at High Sierra, Wakarusa, 10,000 Lakes, The Blue Ridge Harvest Fest, Atlanta's Music Midtown, Xingolati and been have selling out the Georgia Theatre since New Year's Eve 04, and the list goes on and on. Perpetual Groove throws down a funky blend of reggae, tribal-style trance rhythms, heavy funk, jazzy improvisation and synth loops, intertwined with inspiring and sentimental lyrics. Their high energy and meticulous craftsmanship keep their songs fresh, danceable, and surprising. All This Everything (Harmonized Records 2004), produced and recorded by Robert Hannon (OutKast) launched the band out of their home in the dirty south and onto the National radar. And their first release, Sweet Oblivious Antidote (Harminized Records 2003), was voted the top fan pick by The Home Grown Music Network and remains a constant sellar. Through constant innovation, PGroove, as they are known to their fans everywhere, never fail to bring something new to the live concert experience, be it a retina blinding light show or their experimentations with live 5.1 surround sound, each show provides something for everyone. In just under four years, Perpetual Groove has taken the live music scene by storm and continues to add new fans to their already large base of converts.  ** Bump ** 12-29-05 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

Bump For two years, Metro Detroit's Bump has toured regionally in lieu of a full length album, and using their tightly knit four piece rock show as collateral. In 2005, as one of JamBase.com's "Bands to See," Bump managed to do a couple national tours, play a couple major festivals, and share the stage with some of the bands they idled growing up. On May 2nd, Bump takes the necessary step forward by releasing their debut album Incredible Consequence on the Detroit indie label, Beechwood Records. Having been teetering on their own fine line between electronic indie-pop with obvious "jamband" influences in their live show, Bump decided to not replicate the live show on the album instead focusing on the songs. By trimming the fat and approaching the album is if they never performed these tracks live was the only way this project came to fruition. Incredible Consequence is layered with neo new-wave hooks focusing on electronic loops and beats behind live instrumentation in a pop atmosphere. On the other hand, this 70 minute effort also has a couple tracks that throws ordinary genre categorizations out the window. Even though those close to the project have called it "Synchronicity meets Amorica meets Talkie Walkie," Bump feels like they produced a 21st century Motown disc. Furthermore, this album proves that Yorg, Eric Novak, Clint Carpenter and Chris Sterr have collectively forged a dynamic neo-synth hook-driven brand of intelligent art rock. While still being a struggling "DIY" band, Bump have had a couple years of hardships with serious injuries, felony robberies and almost breaking up. All the struggles and demands of living the life of a full time touring musician create inconceivable effects and consequences. This album, is Bump's Incredible Consequence of choosing that path.

 ** Wesley Cook ** 10-14-05 | File Type: audio/x-m4b | Duration: Unknown

Wesley Cook Wesley was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and was raised overseas until he was 17 years old. In his travels and under the musical and literate guidance of his father Dr. Douglas Cook, he was fortunate enough to be exposed to many different styles of music and concepts of thought. His father introduced him to Classical, Blues, Bluegrass, Opera, Folk and many international guitar players and singer/songwriters. He started playing classical guitar at the age of 8 and dropped it after no more than a year. He was unsure of his direction of music at that young age. He picked up the guitar again at 12 and started teaching himself how to play by ear and visual instruction only and on his own terms. When he got to the University of Georgia, he began writing and playing more extensively and trying to mimic his heroes with his own voice and style in order to create a unique sound of his own. "I like to give credit to all my inspirations by imitating them in my own music... I don't like to limit my styles to just one kind... I'll start with instrumental flamenco or something and then go to the blues, etc... I don't like to keep to one type too much... It's not as much fun if all I do is drive one style into the listeners' ears... I love moving around... " Wesley said. Beginning in August, Wesley began recording his first album "We've Been Here Before" at an Athens-based recording studio Pigpen under the direction of Daniel Maldonado Collins as a producer. After many hours spent in the confines of the studio booth, on December 1st was the official CD release with the festivities celebrated at Tasty World in Athens. Currently Wesley is preparing to promote his debut album by playing as many venues as possible, so be sure to keep up with the upcoming dates in December and beginning of 2006. Fans' support and encouragement are much appreciated!Thank you to all!!!
