Atlanta's Creative Loafing awarded the group recognition for their musical contributions and performances as the "Best of Atlanta" for 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2005. In 2004 Aerial2012 was placed in the top ten bands in Atlanta by The Civilian Magazine and in October 2005 won the Southern Region for the "Global Battle Of the Bands".
