 Episode 159 – Lou’s PAX Five | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 55:11

This week we're joined by special guest Lou "Busy Zombie Lord" Page to chat about all the indie games he saw at PAX East last weekend! Before all that awesomeness though, Lou fills us in on a game he's reviewing for Indie Love called Tormentum. It's a point and click adventure featuring very creep art and even creepier puzzles. Be sure to check out Indie Love in the near future for a full review! Ryan shares his thoughts on Alto's Adventure, a Universal iOS game that plays like an endless skier. With graphics on par with Journey and music to match the style, it's an awesome iOS game worth checking out.

 Episode 158 – Covered In Grey Goo | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:07:44

A show for the ages where we close the book on one chapter of #JoceToLegend and start the next with #JoceVsTurps. Also Ryan went back in time and found a way to rent video games again with a service called Game Access, and it's Canadian! As for what Ryan has been playing, he shares his experience with an RTS that is not Starcraft II, called Grey Goo. Developed by a company made up of past Command & Conquer developers this game has the presentation of Starcraft II's campaign with a unique set of three races (two alien and the humans). If you're interested, be sure to check out the intro missions to the Beta and Human campaign from Ryan's YouTube (embedded below). Our topic this week is a SPOILER filled discussion of Game of Thrones, Episode 2 by TellTale. Jocelyn and Ryan were sad to report that the game just isn't living up to what you'd expect from Game of Thrones, or even TellTale for that matter having LOVED Wolf Among Us. May be best to skip this one and check out Tales from the Borderlands. Special thanks to Lou for sending in an email on game reviews! Contest: Thanks to awesome listener Jesper from Sweden, we have a Steam code for Tomb Raider to give away! Email us at info@gamersinnpodcast.com and tell us why you would LOVE to play this game.

 Episode 156 – Order Up! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:46

On a Sunday edition of the Gamers' Inn Ryan talks about his time travel adventures in Life is Strange while Jocelyn orders up a Playstation 4 exclusive. First up is timey wimey adventure of Life is Strange. You may remember we discussed this game a few episodes back, but this time Ryan has completed the game and is here to implore you to play it for yourself. Jocelyn offers an update on #JoceToLegend and her time in the 4v1 game Evolve. Before moving to our topic of the week Ryan has a story to tell related to his video series chronicling his time with Massive Chalice. Our topic of the week takes a look at review scores and whether they affect our purchasing decisions. This was inspired by the recent reviews released on The Order: 1886, which Jocelyn picked up and has some early impressions. Do reviews impact your purchase decisions? Do you only seek out reviews on specific titles? Let us know!

 Episode 155 – DLC is Evolving (MASH B) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 40:31

It's been a busy week for the inn keepers, so there's been limited game time. But that doesn't mean we don't have a new Gamers' Inn for you fine folks! Jocelyn continues to push for legend in Hearthstone, be sure to send her your support with the hashtag #JoceToLegend. Both Ryan and Jocelyn stayed up way too late on Thursday to pick up Majora's Mask on 3DS. The remake is fantastic and if you've played the game or not, pick it up! Finally, we close the show with a chat on Evolve's DLC strategy. Both Ryan and Jocelyn have the game and are excited to see what it has to offer, who knows, it may just make it into our normal game time rotation!

Episode 154 – Chalice of What is Happening? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:11:03

We've got a jam packed episode for you this week, which is great because Winter is here to stay and a podcast by the fire is the perfect cure! We start off the show with an update on Jocelyn's quest for Legend in Hearthstone. We played Dungeon Defenders II for Game Night in which we were joined by a dev in chat (check out the archive)! We wrap up the episode with Life is Strange and Massive Chalice (Ryan played the first 20 minutes here). The discussions on those get a little off the rails, but we'll let you experience that for yourself. Topic this week takes a look at Nintendo's YouTube Partner Program, where Nintendo is splitting revenue with YouTube users who follow very strict guidelines. But as is the Nintendo trend for every questionable decision we get news of an AWESOME decision. Netflix and Nintendo teaming up for a live action Legend of Zelda series. YES PLEASE!

Episode 153 – Critical Hits and Critical Misses | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:10:32

We return to our normal recording day and time to chat about D&D, Jocelyn's PS4, Dying Light and (surprise, surprise) Blizzard games! First up we recap our first experience in a Warlords of Draenor raid, Highmaul. Next Jocelyn spills the beans on her PS4 purchase and Hearthstone promise to hit Legendary in February (send your support!). Ryan gives his first impressions on Dying Light, but for more in depth discussions check out Zombies Ate My Podcast, where the ZAMP crew and James will tell you everything you need to know about the zombie hit! Finally we revisit the world of Dungeons and Dragons with Ryan's experience with 5th Edition. Prepare yourself for some critical miss and critical hit stories. :) In place of a topic this week we catch up with listener feedback, featuring chat of GOTY, Destiny, Dragon Age and agreeing with Ryan. If you have comments to share, or want to disagree with Ryan, send your email in and we will no doubt read it on the show!

 Episode 152 – Don’t Starve With I Am Bread | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 51:30

On a very special Thursday edition of The Gamers' Inn, Ryan returns to chat about completing the main story content in WoW (spoilers!) and Jocelyn has been surviving on I Am Bread and Don't Starve. It's taken a few months but Ryan has finally caught up to Jocelyn in the World of Warcraft, so they spoil the ending to story content in Nagrand and chat about why they thought Blizzard nailed quest progression in the new expansion. Ryan tries to talk about Super Mario Galaxy 2 being released on the Wii U eShop, but the conversation quickly jets off to Nintendo's announcement of the New 3DS XL and Majora's Mask. After a hearty What We're Playing the inn keepers jump into their topic of the week, review scores and Joystiq's recent decision to not score reviews. Do you think a number attached to a review is important? Let us know!

 Episode 151 – Q&A, But Mostly SWC | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:02:55

Ryan was away this week for work so Jocelyn took questions from the chat! After a while she was joined by Smite enthusiasts Josh and Jimmy to chat about the Smite World Championships that were on that weekend in Atlanta. We're back next week with an all new episode from the Inn, so be sure to send in your emails if you have any thoughts on our GOTY episode, Smite, or any game that happens to be taking up your time. Enjoy!

 Episode 149a – Third Year Extravaganza (Pt. 1) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:32:54

An anniversary so special we had to split it into two parts! We recorded our three year anniversary episode on December 19th alongside our fans on the AMove network. We had plenty of guests throughout the episode including Garrett Weinzierl, Josh Cook, Evan Ottaway, Valkreon, Jim, Mike, Paul Swickard, Eric Mahler, David, Nightveil and Devon.  Episode 148 – IRL Night Elves | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:23:07

Only a few more episodes remain in 2014, so what games are Ryan and Jocelyn playing? Ones that make them sound like horrible people of course! Ryan has been processing people through the border crossing of Arstotzka again, this time on iPad. Jocelyn is seeking out every Night Elf in Draenor for a PvP quest. On a lighter note, Ryan gave Telltale's other adventure Tales from the Borderlands a shot and quite enjoyed it. Both innkeepers tried to enjoy Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, but Ryan's computer had other ideas. Our topic this week started with Nintendo showing off more of the new Zelda for Wii U. But, as is tradition, the conversation moved into a deeper conversation of what Nintendo is doing right and wrong with their new platform. Will the Wii U ever catch a break? Here's hoping!

Episode 147 – Stark Comparison of the Forrestors | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:16:52

On a special Sunday edition of The Gamers' Inn, Jocelyn and Ryan spoiler tackle the new Telltale series based on Game of Thrones. Before the spoilers fly though, Jocelyn tells us of her adventures in Ashran world PVP and GvG in the Hearthstone arena. Ryan shares how awesome Dragon Age Inquisition multiplayer is, but how not so awesome the Gender Bug is when it comes to scraping a 30 hour campaign. Also I Am Bread... If you haven't played the first episode of Game of Thrones from Telltale and don't want to be spoiled, best to come back to the later half of this episode. That being said, Jocelyn and Ryan spoil everything about Iron from Ice and in the end aren't too thrilled with this first stab by Telltale. Hopefully episode 2 fixes a few of the issues we had.

 Episode 146 – Play The Apology | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:01:43

Another week races by as Jocelyn and Ryan try to get some more time in with November's recent releases! Jocelyn dinged 100 and has been having a blast in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Ryan shows off his three amigos, I mean amiibo, and fills us all in on Nintendo's grand plan for these little figures. We conclude with a good geek out with Dragon Age Inquisition, spoiler free of course. But what won't be spoiler free is our Game of Thrones coverage when episode 1 of TellTale's epic six parter starts next week. Stay tuned for that! We run a little long with What We're Playing so in the news we quickly chat about Ubisoft's Unity apology and of course touch on some rad Black Friday sales.
