The Arabian Celts from Bahrain won an historic first ever senior men’s Gaelic football cup  at last Friday’s round 2 of this year’s Middle East GAA League. It was a massive weekend of Gaelic sports action in London last weekend as we had no less than five championship titles to be decided at Ruislip. These were the last London club championship finals before Ruislip’s proposed redevelopment takes place over the coming months, and add in a first in televised senior finals by IrishTV.ie on SKY 191 channel, made for a rather historic occasion. Brocach Bandits took the Milwaukee Hurling Championship last weekend at Brown Deer Park with their final victory seeing them going undefeated through the summer. The final Round 3 of this year’s New South Wales GAA Championships, to decide semi final spots, took place at Monarch Fields, Ingleburn outside Sydney, on Sunday. There was a lot at stake particularly in the men’s football championship where the holder’s Penrith Gaels and the league champions Michael Cusacks, weren’t assured of qualification.
