Allora durante il vostro prossimo viaggio in Toscana dovete assolutamente noleggiarne una e partire! Il paesaggio toscano è ricco di colline che rendono le strade sinuose e povere di traffico. Ci sono diversi itinerari e percorsi da fare, i punti di sosta sono i paesini dispersi nelle campagne, tutti offrono ottimi ristoranti e alberghi dove pernottare. Ogni paese ha una sua specialità, che può essere il centro storico, una festa particolare, un tipo di vino, le terme. Da tutta Italia gruppi di motociclisti si danno appuntamento in Toscana per attraversare insieme i passi dell'Appennino che la collegano alla regione dell'Emilia-Romagna. Oggi invece sono a consigliarvi un viaggio che ho fatto con i miei amici in estate, partenza da Siena fino al Mar Tirreno. Da Siena si percorre una strada costeggiata da cipressi che ci porta a Torri, un piccolo borgo con abbazia e chiostro. Dopo una divertente combinazione di curve ci si trova al bivio per San Galgano, famosa per la sua ampia abbazia a tre navate che ha il cielo come tetto, la chiesa infatti è sconsacrata e abbandonata. Questo posto è rinomato anche perché San Galgano avrebbe conficcato una spada in un sasso, dando così origine alla leggenda della “spada nella roccia”. Da San Galgano si prosegue verso la costa passando per Follonica e Populonia con i suoi scavi etruschi. Qui dovete fermarvi nella spiaggia della Buca delle Fate. Il nome di questa spiaggia rende infatti l'idea di come sia incantevole. Tuttavia se per voi l'acqua del Mar Tirreno è troppo fredda potete salire in moto e proseguire per Saturnia. Qui ci sono sorgenti termali che offrono acqua a 36 gradi tutto l'anno!! Questo percorso è una miscela di belle campagne, vigne, oliveti, pinete, pace e tranquillità, per questo consiglio vivamente di andare piano e godervi al meglio tutto il panorama! Attenzione ai limiti di velocità ci sono tanti autovelox e multe salate per i viaggiatori che non rispettano le regole. ----Formal English---- Toscana by Bike Are you a motorcycle lover? From Siena, you take a road lined with cypresses that leads us to Torri, a small village with an abbey and cloister. After an enjoyable combination of curves, you meet the crossroad to San Galgano, which is famous for its vast abbey in three naves that has the sky as roof. The church is in fact desecrated and deserted. This place is also well-known as Saint Galgano had thrust a sword into a stone, thus giving rise to the legend of the sword in the stone.
