From 2010: Sean Lennon has worked with his mom’s Plastic Ono Band, contributed to Cibo Matto, and released a solo album, 'Into the Sun.' His new project with his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl is called 'The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger,' and has a sixties folk pop sound, and during a stop at FUV, the duo played some songs live and spoked with host Rita Houston about writing 'children’s songs.'

From 2009: Between a Madison Square Garden tribute show, playing the inauguration festivities in D.C., and the 50th anniversary of the folk festival he co-founded in Newport, RI, Pete Seeger's 90th birthday year was a busy time. He shared a few thoughts on the celebration with FUV's John Platt.

From 2010: Mose Allison started off as Stan Getz's piano player and in the more than fifty years since he got his start he's become one of the most influential blues and jazz songwriters in pop music. At 82, he released an album produced by Joe Henry called 'The Way of The World,' and while he was at the piano in Studio A he told FUV's Darren Devivo about performing.

There's a warmth and sweetness in the production that brings a new feel to his music. TTMOE made a pretty special record and hearing these songs live was pretty exciting. We talked about the making of the album, how his approach has changed and his guitar style. Make sure you pay extra attention to 'To Just Grow Away.' Beautiful stuff.'

From 2010: The band Broken Bells only has two people — The Shins' James Mercer and Brian Burton a.k.a. producer/DJ Danger Mouse — so it might be a stretch to call them an indie rock super group. However, in an interview with FUV's Alisa Ali, they said that even with all of their other projects, putting together their self-titled debut has been among their favorite musical projects.

Their debut album was put out by the legendary T Bone Burnett, and they sang and told FUV's Rita Houston that it was T Bone and Brandi Carlile that had a big impact upon their young singing careers.
