A View From The Bridge : Belfast Giants Official Podcast

With plenty to talk about, it’s the first of our off-season A View From The Bridge specials. We hear from new Giants coach, Steve Thornton about his return to the role and his plans for this seasons Giants. Rob McGregor of the One Puck Short podcast joins the boys to chat about the changes in the EIHL import limits. We look at recruitment thus far across the league and the Panthers entry to the Champions Hockey League. The lads also dedicate the show to the sad loss of Oscar Knox.

The Elite League 2013/14 has now come to an end, and so brings the final episode of A View From The Bridge for this season. On this weeks show Davy McGimpsey, Neil “The Coach” Russell and Patrick Smyth assess the Playoff Finals Weekend. They are joined by a triumphant Mark Hitchcock to discuss the Sheffield Steelers overtime victory in the final. We hear from Paul Adey and Colin Shields, and discuss the highlights of the season. They try to fathom what is going wrong in the Big Blue Tent and discuss where this leaves the Giants moving forward. We have the post-game interviews with Paul Adey, Colin Shields and Brent Pope. Belfast Giants stay-at-home defenceman Cody Brookwell talks about his time in Belfast and what has influenced his game.
