A difficult weekend for the Belfast Giants, and A View From The Bridge returns to pick at the bones of two disappointing defeats at the Big Blue Tent. Patrick is joined by Neil and Davy to look back at where the Giants went wrong, where the Devils went right and to look ahead to where Belfast can recover their form of old. Craig Peacock joins Patrick to talk about his career and the lads discuss the recent events across the EIHL The show is dedicated to the memory of Stewart “Boomerang” Boone.

Pre Season has come any gone, it’s time to kick into the real deal as the 2014/15 Elite League season gets underway this Friday night in Dundee. A View From The Bridge cast’s it’s eye over all that is to come this weekend. The guys also look back to the visit of the Cardiff Devils, the changes to the Odyssey Arena and the forthcoming weekend in Scotland. We hear from Steve Thornton and Evan Cheverie. Craig Anderson of Slapshot Scotland joins Patrick to chat about the improvements made by Gardiner Conference teams. The lads also discuss all the recent goings on around the Elite Ice Hockey League.

The Belfast Giants, last Thursday night, opened the doors of the Odyssey Arena to unveil the new look Odyssey Arena. As part of that, the AVFTB Boys were invited to take the stage of McCools and present a live podcast to the large crowd in attendance. Joined by, among others, Adam Keefe, Steve Thornton and new signing Mark McCutcheon, the one hour show brought a great deal of talking points, and the odd #AskDavy question.
