Steve Thornton, Mark Brooks and Simon Kitchen give us their insights to the Belfast Giants over 2015 and what they expect in the forthcoming year. A 4 point weekend for the Belfast Giants and A View From The Bridge is in top form to talk of the successes in Edinburgh. James Desmarais is the guest on this festive show! Aaron, Patrick and Davy reflect on the weekend in Murrayfield and discuss the Marsh KO in Nottingham. 2 points from 4 on the road this weekend for the Belfast Giants with a win in Manchester but once again being pegged back in the Sheffield Arena. This week A View From The Bridge are joined by Seth Bennett and Ross Dewar to cast an eye over the week in hockey. Davy, Aaron and Patrick discuss the fortunes of the Giants trip either side of the Pennines. Seth Bennett gives us his opinions on the Tyson Marsh affair and what really happened with the Challenge Cup Draw fiasco. Manchester Storm’s Neil “The Coach/GM” Russell returns to the show that brought him infamy, giving a preview of what the Giants can expect on their forthcoming visit to Altrincham. After a breath taking weekend of NCAA Hockey at the 2015 Friendship Four, A View the Bridge does its best to summarise all the excitement from the events at the EIHL. And with the Giants falling victim to the Manchester Storm on Sunday the lads discuss what went wrong. Chris Higgins shares with Aaron what it’s like coming back from a long lay off with injury. A View from the Bridge is action packed this week, with no fewer than 6 interviews looking across the EIHL and the forthcoming weekend of NCAA action at the SSE Arena. Patrick, Davy and Aaron discuss the two Challenge Cup victories over the Flyers and cast their eye over the other events in the EIHL, including the video replay that took place in Cardiff on Saturday. To preview the Friendship Four tournament this weekend the lads are joined by the weekend’s project manager Shane Johnson, Rhonda McClure gives us her take on the what to expect this weekend as the NCAA writer for The Pink Puck website. Davy talks to the Coventry Blaze forward Jordan Pietrus about his time as Captain of Brown University’s team in our final team profile. While Simon Kitchen catches up with Brown’s Jason Guerrerio and Nick Lappin after their practice at the SSE Arena. Four points gained ‘the hard way’ for the Belfast Giants in two Scottish battles. 6 points were handed as the Giants were forced into almost 130 minutes of hockey. Colin Shields joins A View From The Bridge to chat about his own bumper haul of goals in those games. The last bumper Off Season Special is upon us, with Aaron Kernohan returning to A View From The Bridge. Patrick, Davy and Aaron also look over the activities in the Giants camp over the last 4 weeks. Gareth Chalmers of the Braehead Clan speaks to Patrick about the Champions Hockey League and success of the Glasgow franchise. While in light of his retirement, Calvin Elfring tells Davy why that time has come for him. Part 2 of this weeks show, featuring an interview with new D-man Mitch Ganzak, will be available on Monday.
