The Gratitude Podcast - Stories That Inspire Positive Thinking & Gratitude

Summary: Gratitude is the one thing that helped me most in my life from all the personal development and spiritual practices that I did and that’s why I want to inspire 100.000 people to discover how to feel grateful more often and live a happy life. "It's not happiness that makes us grateful; it's gratefulness that makes us happy." - David Steindl-Rast I do this by interviewing successful people and getting them to share fascinating stories about how gratitude has helped them get to where they are now.  Gratitude Reminders - The Life Giving Power of Rain | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 96

The sound of rain is one of the most relaxing sounds in existence. This sound alone eases away stress and makes everything outside look more calm and quiet . Animal and human cells are made up of 90 percent water, so without fresh water, most life could not exist. You can see the importance of rain to life on land if you look at environments like the Sahara Desert, which receives less than three inches of precipitation a year, compared to 33.3 inches in an average year in Chicago. Thanks to the scarcity of rain and snow in the Sahara, it has only sparse plant and animal life.   Source:http://sciencing.com/rains-importance-life-earth-23021.html Become a supporter of this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-gratitude-podcast/support

Gratitude Reminders - Your Private Driver | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 162

You might own a car and not use this kind of services, but I think they're amazing and so abundant that we take them for granted.  Taxis, Uber, Lyft, are services that even though they have their flaws, they're great when you need them, and I think of them as having my own private driver whenever I need one, paying only for the time I need him for, which is pretty practical, don't you think?  Gratitude Reminders - Video Calling And Connecting With Loved Ones | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 180

We get to communicate around the world, usually really easily, I find this amazing!  100 years ago you'd need a lot of courage to travel the world for weeks or month, even years in order for you to meet people from the other part of our globe and exchange culture and ideas, now, we just need to click on a few buttons and we can do that. :) Isn't this an amazing time to be alive in!? I remember reading a book about my favourite poet, and his love story. He used to wait lots of weeks until he'd receive letters from his lover, it was a romantic time and it isn't easy to imagine how it was to have to wait so much to receive an answer, how many feelings you feel until the letter gets to you.  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-gratitude-podcast/support

Make sure you look at the details, and if you can't click on the link, the masterpiece is called: Sir Joseph Noel Paton, The Reconciliation of Oberon and Titania (1847) Become a supporter of this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-gratitude-podcast/support
