We’re really pumped to have had the chance to talk with one of the fittest men on the face of the planet, Sean Sweeney, the Crossfit Cowboy. Sean, from Fallon, Nevada, is a 2x competitor at the Crossfit Games, a Crossfit Games regional champ, grew up team roping and ranching, a US Navy Veteran, and just an overall good dude. A couple of weeks ago in Cape Town, South Africa, Sean won “The Fittest In Cape Town” Crossfit “Sanctional” event to qualify him for the 2019 CrossFit games.I.

This episode of Married With Horses is with the incomparable Amberley Snyder. Amberley is just an amazing person with a unique, sometimes difficult, but certainly inspiring story. Amberley is a barrel racer that was in a truck accident in January of 2010 which left her paralyzed from the waste down. This was just the beginning of her story that has now been turned into a movie called: “Walk. Ride. Rodeo.” It will released March 8 on Netflix. Be sure to check it out! We hope you enjoy this one!

This episode of MWH is a unique one. Jackie took our mobile recorder while hauling between Texas and Jackson, Mississippi. She hauled with her good friend and fellow pro barrel racer, Taci Bettis. While heading back to Texas from the Dixie National Stock Show and Rodeo in Jackson, the pulled out the recorder, sat it on the console, and recorded a little over an hour of their conversation in the truck.

This episode is with 5x PRCA Steer Wrestling World Champion, Luke Branquinho. Luke has been an absolute phenom in the rodeo arena amassing almost $3M in his pro rodeo career, 5 Gold Buckles in 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, and 2014, and 14 NFR Qualifications. As if his prowess inside the arena wasn't enough, he’s also a natural working the microphone in front of a camera. Coming off an injury and easing back into the rodeo game last year, he spent the 2018 NFR as a commentator for the TV Broadcast.

This episode of Married With Horses is with Kristi Schiller. We’ve known Kristi for 7 or years or so and quickly bonded over barrel racing, our affiliations and affinity for Texas A&M, and many other things. She’s an amazing person. She’s the founder of the non-profit organization, K9s4Cops. An organization that donates K9’s to law enforcement and schools though the United States and various places abroad. In the last 7 years they’ve confiscated more than $250m in narcotics.

Our guest on the show today was Professional Bareback Rider, JR Vezain. JR has won a million bucks on the back of a bucking horse. He is a 6-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifier, 2011 Resistol Rookie of the Year in the Bareback, and all around good dude. In the last weekend of the 2018 PRCA Season, JR broke his back while covering a horse in Pasadena, TX that left him parlayed from the waste down. Since that day, his life has changed. His positive outlook on life has not.

We put out the message that we wanted a few questions for the podcast and got LOTS! So many good ones too! On this episode we answer about 5% of them! We talk about clinics, about respiratory issues, Jackie’s favorite training drill, navicular, underwear types, hair styles, and other interesting topics! At least we think they’re interesting... We’re back with our first episode of 2019! This will be our first FULL year! We’re SUPER excited for all this year has in store and we hope you are too! On this episode we talk a lot of about goal setting. Not “New Years Resolutions,” but ACTUAL goals. No better time than the present to talk about it!
